The Bourne Ultimatum - Review
Best movie of the year...so far. Absolutely loved it. Saw this at the advanced screening last night. I have to say that this is the best of the three. Rare is the series of movies where each one is better than it's predecessor. of course it helps that this one has the same director and producers as the previous one.

Well acted, well directed. Tight pace and lots of action, mixed with smart dialogue. The fight scene in Tangier is one of the best I've seen in a long time. So well done.

If you are a fan of Ludlum and the other two movies, you definitely will want to see this one.

I'm glad this has been said. I checked the US Box Office takings and it hasn't done explosively well but I reckon that's because they don't appreciate Jason Bourne enough.

Thought is a was a bit homo. Too much chasing, not enough headfucking. Fight scene however was brilliant. Definitely not movie of the year.

Caught it a few days ago at a Sony preview screening (Did you know they had a 30 person cinema in the cbd you can hire out???). It's a really good flick. A worthy successor in the series and an excellent action flick to boot.

I've been to one of those little private preview cinemas before on a work junket, didn't know there was one you couldf hire in Sydney though.

americans only appreciate trash - not quality. If it had Paris Hilton in it then it would a US box-smash

Great direction and screenplay. Damon and especially Stiles excelled too. I really enjoyed this from start to end.

Great film, saw it tonight. Damon was brilliant as always. Good fight scenes at the start too. My only criticism is all the techy trackdown stuff at the start, but that's not a big winge.
Love the action in European settings, and elsewhere.

Pretty good action movie. I love spy(esque) plots set in Europe. Always amused when they put Moscow, Russia as a destination cue. Then followed by Langley, Virginia. I mean, comon. Actually given recent American attempts at geography...

saw it last night - was a cool movie

was wondering why the cinema was rammed, but then saw on a billboard on the way home that it was opening night

Enjoyed it, but didn't think it stood up to the first, which was the best of the series imo. The pace was just relentless, you just wanted it to take a breather for a minute.

...but wait isnt that comment about you not bignoting yourself, in effect a comment big noting yourself?...hmm paradoxes inside backholes or something like that

Anyway, looking forward to seeing it, but unfortunately in Germany, the country the dubs everything, and a German von Bourne im not up for

maybe ill catch it on the plane, that will be a far cooler way of seeing it *quietly taps himself on the back in a subtle attempt to bignote*
hang on a minute, im on the potty doing poo

I thought it was a really solid movie as well, although I always come away from movies like this barely remembering what happened because it all happens so fast. I like Julia Stiles but she had like one expression the entire movie and really didn't have a big part at all.

I tend to agree on that, a lot of movies seem to use that in your face technique now, can get a little annoying.

Saw it on the giant screen IMAX at southbank and the size of the screen combined with with the sheer ammount of 'shakey-cam' in the movie actually gave me nausea for the first half of the film.

I thought the ending was lame, but the rest was solid. Very well paced and gritty

keen to hear a little more detail from peeps about what aspects of the end ya didn't like. (Just curious, not an attack or criticism on you for thinking so.)

One of the best of the year, no question. It'll do great business with anyone over 35, as it's not your conventional Hollywood blockbuster. Loved the fight scene in Tangier; look for Bourne using a book to great effect. And how clever is him dodging surveillance at Waterloo Station?

I've decided I'm going to watch the Trilogy on the way home. It will also prepare me for 'Legacy'.

Also, what the fuck is with all the old-schoolers dissing the end of this??
