Right on over the last few months we have had some of the best Detroit DJ come play in Sydney along side some of Australia’s best.. This month we have one of Chicago finest – Jamie 3:26. A man who has been in the game for over 25 years playing everything between house, disco, techno, afro, and anything that will make your ass boogie..

Who is Jamie 3:26
The true heads already know, but for all who haven’t heard about him yet, be sure not to miss this one! Spinning records since the mid 80ies this guy really knows how to work a crowd. It’s gonna be hot and if you’re not comfortable with sweat, POOR YOU! Jamie’s one of the musical sons of the Chicago house music scene that is closely associated to the energy and DJ-ing style of the Music Box, as his artist name ‘3:26’ a reference to the Box’s physical address ‘326 North Michigan’ suggests.

Over the years, Jamie has earned himself a good reputation through collaborations with prolific producers like Marshall Jefferson, Chip E. Anthony Nicholson, Glen Underground, Boo Williams and Paul Johnson. His latest releases & the Basement Edits series have appeared on the ParteHardy Records label as well as Strobelight Honey , which all sold out in a matter of days. As far as residencies go, Jamie 3:26 has played Chicago hot-spots such as The Basement, The Concrete Jungle, Red No. 5 and Boom Boom Room, all being well-regarded hot spots in the Windy City. Driven by the desire to allow people to loose themselves on the floor and forget their problems, Jamie keeps his irons in the fire and we are glad to have him over!

It’s no where you have EVER been before! With the help of a few friends we will be converting this underground venue into a disco paradise!

Heavy weights in the underground scene - The Paradise Lost Crew will be joining in on the party and Boom Boom favourites Magda + Daniel Lupica will be bringing some love to the party as well..

There are a fair few other videos out there Though the honest truth is Jamie is born and bred in Chicago and has been playing there for over 25 years, I've been an avid fan of his sets and his productions and many of the people who I have toured before have told me that Jamie is a proper "House Soldier" and when I get people like Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Rick Wilhite, Anthony Shakir, Mike Huckaby all confirming the same thing - there is only one responsible thing as a promoter to do and is to tour this MF!

BBQ would of been great - was going to do a day thing though the people spoke and demanded the night! In regards to BYO the venue we will be using is fully licensed.

Right! Just spoke with the venue - strictly no ticket selling at the door..

So that means unless you have a ticket or are on the paying guest list - we can't let you in.. Sorry..

Bit of an update in regards to the party.. This is party will be limited to ticket holders or for people who are on the guest list. People on the guest list will be given a password which they will require to give to the gatekeeper.. Ticket holders will just need to give their ID/ticket print out..

The sound system is carefully being sourced and tested by some of the best engineers in Australia. We are looking forward to making this night something super special..

Thanks to everyone who has snapped up tickets. We took a look at the venue last week and sorted out the sound for the event we will be using a very lush Turbosound System both from and back stacks.. These bad boys will be put through a lovely equalizer and then fed into the Boom Boom E&S DJR400...

Again I would just like to remind people if you don't have a ticket from RA or a flyer/business card, or you are not on the guest list - you are not getting in.. The venue has strictly no walk in traffic therefore one again if you want to attend you need to:

With a few sleeps to go this is looking to be the biggest party we have had yet. Both releases have been sold and we the final release is ticking over quickly. The facts are this:

- Jamie 3:26 straight out of Chi, a veteran in the game of house and disco will be coming to Australia for the very first time and be laying down some foot stoppin’ goodness

- Supporting Jamie will be one of Sydney favourites The Paradise Lost Crew. Amongst that we see Boom Boom regular Magda back in action alongside Daniel Lupica who we will be farewelling for 6 months as him the wifey are off to Europe!

- We have been scrambling around trying to make the night as special as possible and we will be installing a lovely Turbo Sound Rig courtesy of our good friends at Dig Deep Production. Add 2 x 1210’s, 2 x CDJ2000’s and plug it all into an E&S DJR 400 we personally think things are going to get crazy..

- The location: We will shoot out emails + text messages + update the website with the details. If by any chance you don’t have a ticket for the party by Saturday and you’re not on the guest list you might need to mosey on down to our website for a few more details..

- Apart from that we will be doing some free drinks early on for the guests including some champagne for both the guys and girls who make it down early enough (I’m bringing in about half a case, once it’s gone it’s gone!) After that we will have some cocktail specials and pretty much everything else is cheaper than most establishments out there..

I think anyone who came down got to experience something very special. That was one of my favourite nights ever.. The dance floor was smoking all night and everyone was just getting down..
