Disappointed in myself I didn't make it over to see your 2012 RSF set, tbh though I don't remember seeing your name on the set list, or maybe didn't recognise it at the time. Will make sure I won't make the same mistake in 2013 if you play again

It was early Monday morning. 9am? Maybe earlier in fact?

I was going to wake up for a stomp seeing Ozzy and then head over, but it was raining when the alarm went off so I hit snooze then woke up a few hrs later having missed both spewing, I love the 2011 set above.

@ Algorithm, I actually have downloaded both of those sets, the first one particular has got a lot of plays in the last couple of months.

@Chrisdude, like Algorithm sets and in particular the old Gatcrasher triple cd sets, one cd used to be a "chill out" cd, they were brilliant.

Chilled Euphoria and Deep and Chilled Euphoria CDs mixed by Red Jerry from a few years back are the benchmark in the Ambient Trance genre imho. Simply brilliant and spine tingling mixes!

2011 was amazeballs.

2012 was a tough set time at 5am but we woke up, threw on the hoodies and went down in the drizzling rain to listen. Closed my eyes the entire time and just listened... it was a blissful 2 hours

What i would call ambient trance is an album that Solar Fields made around 4 or 5 years ago, called Earthshine. Two tracks from this one that are superb are "february" and "Black Arrow". Those that do not know, he is a psy ambient producer who made a trance album. I love these tracks and still play them in my sets.

Random Friday continued that theme and did it much better than Earthshine imo

Actually, I mashed ""February" and "Black Arrow" for the end of one of my sets and the dancefloor was full, in spite of more dust than I had ever seen in a day!
Random Friday is very nice work though, but there is not much Solar Fields does that I do not like!

There was this random mix by EratiC or someone, think it was called IBIZA DREAMS or something. Stunning stuff. So good.

Just thought I plug Love Theme Dusk as well, remains to be one of the finest piano melodies in trance for me. There are some covers and fan bootlegs out there, but the only official chillout release that comes to mind is:
