After *that* last debaucherous jaunt at GoodGod w Cesare Vs Disorder back in January - sweat dripping off the walls, capacity well and truly reached and of course, bangin' ...tunes - it is with great anticipation that we look forward to another epic night with one of Berlin's most sought-after live acts: Klartraum.

KLARTRAUM:

Klartraum is the collective of two highly regarded producers in their own right: the prolific NADJA LIND, who has released on labels such as Soma and been remixed by the one and only Terry Francis, and HELMUT EBRITSCH, who put out the acclaimed single 'Modern Times' under his Hatikvah moniker, which was subsequently reworked by Dial's Efdemin.

Klartraum arrive in Sydney on the back of releasing their second LP, Evolution, last August via their own Lucidflow imprint, a label Ebritsch and Lind founded almost four years ago. Evolution spawned a remix album before 2011 was out, which featured reworks from the aforementioned Terry Francis, Silicone Soul, Steve Rachmad, Mark Henning, G-Man and Marek Hemmann among others. Such a formidable list is an indication of Klartraum's standing in the electronic music community, and they'll bring their live show to Australia for the first time having showcased it at UK clubbing colosseum fabric earlier in the year.

Both as a studio double duo and burgeoning live act Klartraum bring an entirely unique edge to their performances and output by taking their flowing techno to a deeper, spiritual level - simply put, a perfect act for a Subsonic event.

Spewing i can't make this one afterwards! Got to head south for my Nanna's 90th (the real kickon party).
I normally wouldn't remember much after 4.30 am anyway.

Might pop into SASH when i return to Sydney at around 9pm.

Klartraum were a great follow up from Babicz last night. They stormed through the last half of their set and I loved the dark krankypants technos.

I got the best surprise for sticking around since i didn't know much about them as a duo and a friend of mine said "If you were ever to go to see gig tonight LIR, Kartraum would be playing." Gratefully I'm in agreement now!
