Cool, thanks Rich. I think I'll get along to this. His live sets are usually quite special.

^ That's such an epic party.

I don't go to be in the VIP area and drink fancy champagne. I don't need big breaks and a big song with a buildup and lights and smoke.. all you need is a kickdrum and a good bassline. You don't need any of that other shit. Na, I'm not going for none of those reasons... I'm just going for the music.

Btw he was bloody brilliant down here. ! I was so worried he wouldn't live up to my expectations. Absolutely nothing to worry about. I took a couple of friends who had never seen or heard him, they came up and thanked me at the end of his set!

After seeing Charlie May, I've been on a bit of a hunt for his music. where did you get Mayhem Vol 1? Is my best bet Amazon, or is there somewhere I can get it in Melbourne? Saw some pages on stomp.com.au via google, but their site is down...

On another note, has anyone seen this?

If you flick through the "cover-flow" gallery at the top of the page, you can listen to the whole album, you have to find it first, though. Pretty good listening

Takes a while doesn't it? That gallery is pretty un-intuitive. I wish they'd just use a regular flash player of some kind.

Nah, your instructions worked well. Might not have found it without the instructions though. Maybe it's an IDM test

New stuff on Charlie's SoundCloud: http://soundcloud.com/charliemay

Definitely give this set a listen:

I would also like to point out that the Electrolysis set/minialbum is now available for download:

Charlie had a couple more tracks on that second Electrolysis compilation. It's a weird idea with all the different artists on it. So many nice tracks on them though.

I had a bit of a listen to that radio mix last week, can't say it does much for me. I'd rather be listening to Charlie's own stuff 'Brazil' sounds really out of place as well, but that's just me.

I have to give it another listen, but I was a bit disappointed as well. Not the usual quality that charlie normally delivers.

Agree, it's not as melodic and hypnotic as I've heard from him, but it's freaking phat, slammin and chugging as all get out!

I like that newer one, too, but quite different…techy-er and deeper, quality, but the one from 2 weeks ago is better imo…perhaps I was just in the mood for stonking rather than subtle though

Time to start agitating again methinks

I sent an email to his agent and he is still Djing The agent asked if I wanted to book him I wish !!!

Checked his facebook , he put that mix up there as well. Please could those who do Facebook go thank him

https://www.facebook.com/charliemayofficial

Also he put up this link .http://www.sonicacademy.com/Training...-Remix.cid5587 Which is him going though the process of The Lana Del Rey track. I found it fascinating ,those who actually understand what the fuck he is talking about will probably find it even more so

Listened to Charlie's Transitions mix that's just been released, very good as expected. Doesn't much around with the hour.
