Lately I've been randomly picking Queen songs; then there's a bunch of 80's stuff, such as Human League... but then again, they're also electronic

p.s. I saw somewhere earlier in the thread a mention of QOTSA - Songs for the Deaf, and I agree - it's a great album!

Human League....awesome!!!

Love that song by Flock of Seagulls 'I Ran". Awesome 80's song.

While we are doing the 80's...Kate Bush's 'Runnin up that hill", another epic tune

Yeah, and not just their 80' stuff - I think All I Ever Wanted is a fantastic track and actually better than Don't You Want Me.
I really hope they'll get more recognition for their newer work.

Uh, I gotta listen to All I Ever Wanted now...

Figured the best way to shake off this 80's fever that recently got to me is to feed myself with a nice big 80's compilation.

Out od 40 tracks it's hard to pick a favourite, but artist wise, let's say: Soft Cell, Eurythmics and Tears for Fears.
All in all, this totally reminds me of cheesy 80's retro parties, perfect for hot summer nights...

So, today I'm mainly chilling out with:

Tubeway Army / Gary Numan - Are Friends Electric

It's one of those tunes you can listen on repeat over and over and over again.

Also, since it's Halloween, I'm listening to some darkwave hits... Sisters, Bauhaus, the usual.

Sorry to keep the 80's rollin.

Flock of Seagulls....they were amazing, especially cos I reckon they were ahead of their time musically.

"I ran", close to being my fave from the 80's

I've been over the entire Murder Ballads today, and now I'm wrapping it up with:

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Henry Lee

I love the video, Cave and PJ Harvey really look the part for this song.

Huh, now I'd better dig out something cheerful...

Rats, am I the only person here listening to non-electronic music?

Anyway, now listening to: Deftones - Change (in the house of flies)

I watched the change in you
it's like you never had wings

VAST - Touched - I adore this fan made pairing of video and music. Goes wonderful together and I always found that VAST's song somehow enhances Rurouni Kenshin's background story...

Feeding the lonely thread...

.. I am listening to:

Letters to Cleo - I want you to want me

Silly perky song, I very rarely listen to it, but when I do, it reminds me of a summer years ago...

Gotye feat. Kimbra - Somebody that I used to know

At first I didn't like it that much, but then I got hooked and now it's on repeat.
The video is great, and the way their performances seem to evoke a quarrel makes the song stand out.

Time to dance on fun 80's music a bit!

Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)

Man, those haircuts were heaps of fun...and in heaps, literally.

Sweet and contagious. Danceable, but not dance music in the slightest.

The Heavy - Set Me Free
The video makes me dizzy, though.

A round of good old Sinatra - Strangers in the night (expanded)
Call me old fashioned, but I always had a weak spot for swing music... I even liked it when Robbie Williams performed Sinatra few years back.

Got myself an exquisite piece of music - quite far away from the dance music, so I figured it's best to post it here.
Jim Morrison & The Doors - An American Prayer

So many LP versions on the tracklist... sweet!

designer bags a bright colour is playful
R-13 in relation to the numerator/denominator 1/3 = 0.3 recurring2/3 = 0.6 recurring3/3 = 0.9 recurring, therefore 'rounding' = 1.1/3(3) = 1 0.3333333333333(3) = 0.999999999 no rounding will go on and on repeatedly ? now if we multiply, say a random even # fraction say (4/2)(1/3) with a odd number =0.666666666 is it odd or even how do we know when it's continually repeats itself, Aye, but to assume with rounding it is =0.67 or 2/3 a odd number. therefore it casts doubt. Then if we divide the fractions it (4/2)/(1/3)=6.

If everything goes well, we should get to see some "Ha" tonight for the Blazers, as in 9'7" Korean center Seung-Jin Ha. He's not very good, but man, is he tall! And considering who their other options are (let's see. Jarret Jack, Martell Webster, Brian Skinner, Vashon Leonard, just to name a few) why not give Ha a run?.
