Description:

It seems almost pointless giving a description of who Robert Babicz is and what he does, because in reality even your mum knows, or at least admires his fine selection in scarfs . Needless to say we are ecstatic to have the master back and playing for electric owl for the first time!

Sooooo.

thank you very much punters and promoters for a very good night. Bar the line up at the start (which we potentially could have avoided if my friend and I were selfish bitches and didn't help some poor dude passed out in an alleyway nearby) of the night, everything seemed to go quite well. Amazing tunes, happpy happy happy people, more amazing tunes, lots of old faces from the past that i've not seen for a LONG time, and did i mention amazing tunes?

vids to follow in a couple of mins.

Wowsers....Babicz really does keep getting better and better!! :O :O He nailed that set so damn well!!!! Couldn't have asked for anything better Pure bliss!!!

Also had heaps of fun rocking out to Klartraum upstairs!

Side room had heaps of energy and a great groove every time I went in there

Brown Alley looked sooo good. Such a tripped out place. And sooo many happy dancers everywhere.

Still got a smiley on my face

That was my most enjoyable electric owl so far. Im glad you all appreciated the effort put into decor that underwater theme worked a treat. Altaurism did a superb IDM / futuristic broken beat warm up for Lusine (although he had major technical difficulties go down 1.5 hours before his performance) he performed fantastically . Personally, i don't i can't remember having so much fun playing LIVE to an audience like that in god knows how long. Had a BALL !

Crowd wise, it just felt old skool, musically it was sensational ....

Thanks again , we will strive to continue to maintain this level of quality for all electric owl events. We will let you know when the next one is but in the mean time join our Facebook fan page to stay in the know.

Great night, i usually hate brown alley but these electric owl gigs are fun. The crowd was polite and up for it. The effort on decor went a long way , the sound system was consistent and clear

Loved text book live , the babicz burger, and Muska's closing set in the wee hours of the morning . Drink prices are too high for me though. Mad night.

Thank you so much for having me down to play Electric Owl crew, what a great party! Was on the roof most of the night, which was so much fun! Really loved Nadjas DJ set and the Pinksilver Lads dubby live set. Caught about half of Klartraums set downstairs also, which sounded absolutely amazing on that system

Thanks again. Hope to party with you again soon :-) x

What a great night. Thanks to everyone who came and brought such an amazing vibe to the Garden Bar early in the morning - it was so much fun.

Loved finally getting to hear Lusine play, but it was such a great thing to see Text Book Music with a full main floor heaving. Loved Nadja's set in the Garden Bar as well, was great hearing her play finally as well.

Top work Electric Owl, thanks for letting me be a part of it.

Dean.
Until further notice...

As i have said before - Brown Alley has the potential to be amazing for every gig that is held there. But in order to achieve this promoters must give a shit, and care enough about taking the time to implement the aesthetically fundamental factors that make a good night club a great night club ; Good Production and Good Sound.

Add a quality crowd, world class locals and international DJ's and its all gravy.

All we can promise is that for our events, electric owl will always do our best to ensure this happens every time.
