ALso, went to the doctors and he said I am an idiot and I don't have thrush, all that is happening is that my taste buds have grown back after quitting smoking and are slightly discoloured from all the coffee i drink

There's the not dying bit to worry about too, when you're young you can abuse your body with impunity to a point but past 30 you start noticing the consequences if you don't make some effort. Depends how long you want to live. That damage may not be repairable and make your older years absolutely suck.

I'd rather live an awesome and healthy life well into my 80s and 90s as opposed to dying at 60 because I fucked my body so much in my 20s and 30s. You only live once, why shorten your time?

3km tempo run @ 5:19 min/km - This session was good and bad - it should have been much longer, my legs felt tired before I started, but I figured they would come good once I had a few clicks in. This didn't eventuate, not quite recovered from Sunday's effort. On the upside, I was holding 5:19 min/km steady with no dramas as far as my lungs were concerned. When I stopped I wasn't huffing and puffing, it wasn't that long ago that holding under 5:30 for longer than a click ruined me. So, pulled the plug on this 10k session, but it is rescheduled for Friday #whatdoesontkillyou

Tried going for a run just then, went about 2km and then my lungs restricted to about half capacity. Now breathing with the wheezies, haven't had asthma since early highschool.

Turned around and walked home, wheezies disappearing, breathing improving.
