Actually that program isn't bad. I just need to figure out how to shoehorn training, games and weights sessions in.

No point wearing a singlet if the gun show isn't active.

The problem is when you catch the green group you will be in narrower suburban streets, just push ****s out of your way. Probably only add a minute to your time

I'm not that fussed at the end of the day, just want to get involved and maybe finally meet a few of you jerks. As long as I knock my mate off his 67 minute perch, I won't kyf if I don't go 65. I'm starting to think I'm a bit heavy to go that quick anyway...

Punt road hill? It's near your place.

Otherwise Camberwell near Tooak Road seems to be a lovely hilly kind of area. Plus the hill on Glenferrie road near Scotch College.

As Tobi mentioned there's some reasonable hills around Camberwell way, that's where Eddie and I run regularly. Eddie mentioned a particular one the other week that is a good traing hill for the C2S, I forget which but I'm sure he'll stick his nose in here soonish.

I ran up the one on Glenferrie yesterday 17km into my run. Didn't look that big, but it hurt, lots.

Just because you register under a team name, doesn't mean you run as a team.

The team I'm in is spread over different start groups & abilities.

S&F can still meet up on the morning & start together. That's why I'm doing the blue group instead of green.

Registered in the Red group.

Aiming for under 60 mins this year. Best time was 63.12 two years ago.

Started training last week, joined Nike Run Club. Although the runs are fairly flat, it's a decent distance (10km) and they have run leaders that stick to particular speeds (5.00, 5.30 and 6.00m per/km) so gets so you into the groove of running a consistent pace.

Think I may sit around 5:10-5:15 pace till I'm up the hill then fang it home.
