Are those sort of pull ups (parallel grip pull ups is their name btw) really hard to do for women?

I find them easier to do than wide grip pull ups, but obviously males are built differently in the upper body.

Fuck that's a good effort, he started at the same weight I did about 2 weeks earlier in the year, and I'm sitting somewhere between his March and April pics now (in weight and general shape I think). Pretty good motivation though, pretty much tells me I could get to maybe his August pic by summer.
