In the follow up to our recent sold out Derrick May show, TechPhonics returns to Electric Circus armed with Germany’s Kaiserdisco, the return of home town legend Jorge Watts and a cracker of a party to kick start your Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend…

Kaiserdisco was born in 2008 with the union of Patrick & Frederic and quickly became one of the most interesting acts in the global underground scene. They are much more than just a techno or minimal act; Kaiserdisco fascinates people all over the world because they produce top shelf music ranging from lazy deep house to groovy techno, always with the right sense for the dancefloor. In the last few years they’ve remixed artists like Booka Shade, Kosheen, Extrawelt, Sebastien Légér, 2000 & One …, and had releases on legendary labels like Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, 100% Pure, Strictly Rhythm and Global Underground. Besides their big future plans the boys have decided to start their own imprint: KD Music, with the initial “La Familia EP” released in December 2011, and much more to come. TechPhonics are very excited for Patrick’s Australian Tour as we witness a Kaiserdisco dj set!

Plus Adelaide’s own international techno star Jorge Watts [back from his US tour], Matt Abstrax with PhilDdrumz on percussion, deep house guru Elliot Ness and young tech-house gun Nik-C [Soundpond].

looks like none left now! i just grabbed some full price tickets for mates from tassie and melbourne coming over for the extravaganza.

if it's anything like the awakenings festival set it is going to be immense.

i'm waiting on confirmation from two other mates that should be heading up from interstate before grabbing some more tickets - hopefully there'll be some left!

is the whole venue going to be open for this one or just the downstairs bit like for derrick (damn that was an incredible night)?

Hey mate - earlybirds all gone from Venuetix - I just have a couple left on me personally. Venuetix now selling normal presolds $20+fees = $25ish.

This will be just in Electric Circus itself like Derrick May.

We could do multiple rooms there (potentially with Limbo/Rocket/Rocket Rooftop) but won;t this time round. Would need multiple acts to make that work

Thanks to all that came out - was a cold night in Adelaide (apparently the coldest for 5 years!). Bit quieter than the last show with Derrick May but still good tunes / good crew / good times!

Kaiserdisco set was very cool - bouncy tech house and funky techno that had me jumping!!!

Just to clarify, 'very early' was about 3:45am. It was a shame it was a bit quieter than expected - most venues want to shut early when there's not enough peeps drinking. We had originally hoped to go through till 5am but Friday nights are prone to people departing a bit earlier than normal.

We'll get Watto back on the decks for some more 3 deck madness soon...
