Ahh Guy J rocked the shit out of Geisha last night in perth!!

Awww so good!!! Dream worthy!!
Must have looked like an idiot with my jaw on the floor drooling half the night!!
SUch perfect music!!! What an incredible little dude!!!
ANd so young!! Ahhh so much talent!!! Really am completely awestruck!!! Even got my cd signed haha

Tune after tune of goodness as well!!

LOST & FOUND!!! OMG!!! Live in a club!!! HAhaa!! EPIC!!!
Fixation!!!
HIgh!!!
Fantasy reality!!
So many other big techno prog monsters in the second half of the night!!!
...And what I thought sounded like some expander remix at the end??!!
It wasnt guy j's mix (i wish!!), it was pretty messed up and almost unrecognizable, but sounded distinctly like expander??
Anyone else hear that?? Or was it just me haha!!
Think it was the second last track??

ANyways!! Guy j for the win!!!

Thought maybe I should post this in here too for anyone who is interested... This is mine and J-Slyde's closing set after Guy J last night. Full dancefloor after he had schooled the adoring masses for over 3 hours. Bloody hard act to follow I can tell you that much, but HEAPS of fun:

Tracklist to follow.

This list makes me feel less bad for liking some music I consider cheesy... esp. Veracocha and Orbit's Adagio (both of which I love, but I kind of consider them "guilty pleasures").

Yeah, me too! It's crazy that these are his inspirations from early on - it's enviable looking at how far he's come since then.

^^^ We all have different tastes, but I am shocked, this is probably the most commented, in a good way, track ever !! The thing for me was it did grab me totally straight away, I absolutely had to have it, so maybe it just isn't for you. But I love it to death. !! `

Totally ofF topic , listening to Chinese Massage at the moment , another track I absolutely love !!

The question is.....do you think its guy J's best work yet? He just has so many great tunes.

He chose this track as the premier release for his own label so he must be proud if it.

Guy J playing Sounds on Sunday at Greenwood, didn't expect that. The kids won't like ze prog imo. Will be "boring" to them (where's the drop?)

within minutes of him uploading that to SC, I dL'd it without listening.

but i gotta say I found it a bit meh .
i realise its a warm up set, but just seems flat
dont get me wrong, I think Guy is the best prog DJ in the world right now, so I guess the bar is set fairly high.
first couple of tracks are pretty good.

I think what it is, is that it reminds me of the old Halo & Hipp-E, west coast sound from back in the 90's. It sounds dated.

oh well. next time

Not sure I'm too happy about him playing greenwood. Last couple of gigs I've been to there have had crap sound, expensive drinks and huge bar lines.
