Beyond the Breaks presents Lo_Key Fu (Perth) tonight and Thursday from 730pm
Tonight on the the show I have a very special guest mix from one of the most amazing producers I have ever heard. I first caught this guy at a gig in Perth supporting Hedflux and he almost stole the show in my opinion. His tunes are so fresh and energetic he had me from hello...so, for your aural pleasure tonight I present to you.... Lo-Key Fu.

“He stands out clearly from the pack as a musician’s musician, demonstrating both skill and talent in unstinting and equal measure”
(Greg Kowalski, Inside Magazine)
“A dynamic live act on the Australian scene and a world class producer"
(Alfred Gorman, Xpress Magazine)
“We said it was going to be special, but we didn’t realise how special this was going to be. The place is going absolutely mental man.”
“It is absolutely magic out there. He has them in the palm of his hand.”

Profile
If anyone asks what Lo-Key Fu has been doing over the last year or more, the short answer would be wading his way through the thick of a musical mid-life crisis. But last year is old news, and there’s a new sound in town.
Armed with a shiny new rig, dangerously raw live set and a stack of belting original breakbeat, Lo-Key Fu is slam back in the frame and serving up the next episode with synths blazing.
After making his first mark on the electronic music scene around a decade ago, Lo-Key Fu gathered early momentum through a combination of old fashioned elbow grease and innovative use of modern technology.
Plunge into the present, and his unique sound has wowed national and international audiences, the list of accolades and awards is relentless, and the media have tagged him everything from ‘Breakbeat Terrorist’ to 'Perth Breaks Royalty'.
Whatever the reality, Lo-Key Fu is promising a new album in the coming months and plenty of live shows to boot.
Keep it Lo-Key. — with Lo-Key Fu.
