BIt late but top night at Techphonics with Kaiserdisco a couple of Friday nights ago. Ashame Watt's set was cut short but can't do much about that. Caught Matt's warmup set with PhilDdrumz as well, definitely a good way to start the night. Patrick seemed like a good bloke and played some quality tunes.

Anyone catch Tom Trago at Sugar a couple of weeks ago?

oliver $ was sheer class. haven't heard a proper house set for bloody years. reminded me of why i got into the electronic thing all those years ago. music to my ears. wouldn't have known about it had i not had a look in here - cheers for the heads up jamrock! decent venue too (first time i'd been there).

Yeah Oliver $ was definitely top notch, cool to hear Doin Ya Thang, such a cool track, love that Moodyman sample. Thought Jorge Watts' set was just as good though dissapointed that I couldn't hang around for Matt's after.

Its on ground level, and I think was previously used facing Hindley Street., as an Asian pool hall or karaoke bar or something.

Entry is via the same door as Electric Circus, and can be run independently, or linked to the other rooms in the complex (EC, Limbo, Rocket Bar, Rocket Rooftop).

Cheers. I love that space. All of it. I still miss Skylab, it's awesome when they open up the whole thing, I don't think I've been to a party like that though since Holden in 2003.

It's good to see there is stilll people willing to take a punt an open a venue. Looks like it might have a decent music policy too by the look of the FB page.

I've missed every good gig due to residencies, i'm so fuming i never got to see octave one! Still protested by playing techno, which surprisingly worked. Good times!

I have been tossing up spending NYE in Adelaide at Summerdayze, leave early as possible, maybe check out one of the NYE gigs then try get an early flight back to Melbourne and head off to Let Them Eat Cake and catch FlyLo, Mathew Jonson & co.

It'd be a new years to remember that's for sure. It'd test my sanity and wallet though.
