it's probably time for preudhomme to look at making the tour smaller. not sure why they need 9 riders per team, 5 is plenty. there are probably 70-80 riders that shouldn't be there who are just nuisance value and cause crashes

Crazy stage. Schleck has lost more than 2min which will be tough for him to make up. Going to be an exciting mountain finish tonight, but don't expect the GC contenders to go 100%. Instead, look for people like Sammy Sanchez, Chavanel, Gilbert and maybe Frank Schleck if he wants to make up time.
