Noticed it in the top searches on ISOhunt and when checked IMDb and saw a rating of 8.4 thought I'd give it a crack as that's a fairly decent rating (in the context of Broadwalk Empire getting and 8.8, Mad Men an 8.9 and Breaking Bad 9.4)

Plus I've got a mad crush on Ginnifer Goodwin so it can't be all that bad with her as some on screen eye candy

Only watched episode 1 so far, but seems alright, in a strange fairy tale spin off kinda way...basically all that's come up in episode 1

is that Snow White married her Prince, the evil Queen showed up and said she was bringing a curse sending them all to a land without happy endings where time stood still, Rumpilstiltskin foretold that Snows child should be sent away and would return to save them in 28 years...jump to modern times and the fairy tale characters are living in Storeybrooke, Maine, with no memory of who they really are and Snows daugther being drawn to the town by her adopted son

Seems OK, and as I'm short on other things to watch right now, will keep on watching.

I've been watching it steadily since it came out, and I've really enjoyed it. I think it stumbles a bit in the first couple of eps after the pilot but it gets really good. I anticipate new eps every week!

^ Agreed! Especially episode 2 (3 was better)...and all in all, it feels a little lame, a bit gay, if you will...but at the same time, it's quite intriguing and makes me want to keep watching it...and it's nice to see Robert Carlyle in something again, been a while

Just watched the first 2 eps and I really like it so far... even the boy likes it... yay. Anyways, I think now that the first 2 eps have set it all up and given you everyone's back story it will start to get even more bettera!

My fella pointed it out to me after watching the pilot (he saw it 2 hours before I did) so right from the start it's all I can look at. I think she's super cute and gorgeous but I don't think that pixie crop is really working for her.
I'm about three or four episodes behind now so I'm looking forward to catching up when I get home.

Have any of you noticed it is the exact same formula as Lost? To begin with, when Henry was going into the mines, he dropped an 'Apollo' chocolate bar, but more so, the flashbacks.

They begin at the end, where everyone was when the curse hit, but then go back far enough to tell us how they all got to be where they're at

Ginnifer Goodwin has always had sticky-out ears, she just usually covers them up with long hair. If you check her out in films they always style her hair over them, even when it's up in a ponytail, lol. They stand out SO much now with that short haircut though.

Show is OK, been following it. I think I might like Grimm better though, it is a little grittier and the CGI is better. Sometimes the CGI in Once Upon a Time is absolutely woeful.

Guess there aren't many options for working on fantasy TV productions though, as both shows seem to have plenty of ex-Buffy & Angel alumni associated with them.

d/l whole first season. finisjed it 2 weeks ago and am watching new avatar while i wait for next season.

sad about graham though. kind of wish they picked a different actress for emma..
