Controllers - S4 vs Denon MC6000 vs Novation Twitch
Hey,

I'm looking to get a new midi controller for Traktor (home use only) and have narrowed to these 3:
- S4 Kontrol
- Denon MC6000
- Novation Twitch

I'm using Traktor 2.5, and have starting to use the remix deck, mostly just for loops recorded through the loop recorder.

From the reading I've done and reviews I've watched I'm tending towards the Denon, but I'm not settled yet. Both the Denon and the s4 offer easier access to managing 4-decks which I'm using more and more.

I will go to a shop and play with all 4, but I wanted to know if there are any gotchas about any of them from those who have used them. What about bass kills switches/buttons / filters / switching from decks AB to CD?

Cheers,

No one used these? I'm especially interested to hear about the Denon and Novation.
Cheers.

Well the Twitch uses Serato, do you like Serato or Traktor? I haven't heard anything good about the Twitch, I've heard good things about the Denon (I haven't used either however)

That said, I've used the S4 and it's fun. Everyone loves them. They get good reviews, You get the full version of 2.5 and it's on special at the moment. I'd get that.

Thanks Shr3dder. They have a Traktor overlay and mapping. What bad things have you heard about the Denon? I was kind of leaning towards that; but am happy to be talked into something else.

None, I'm pretty sure I said I've heard good things about the Denon.
