ESF RECORDS LABEL LAUNCH

Bear Essential Promotions and Slam Funk Productions unite to bring you Essential Slam Funk Records – ESF – a Brisbane-based, Australian label founded by Bear Keen, Reuben Stocks and Jason Miller. Together they bring you over 20 years experience in promoting and playing dance music and a life-long passion for electronic music.

Over the years ESF has provided platforms for underground music and art to thrive - in the outdoor and indoor scene; from festivals (secret sessions, tribal sessions, outback playground) to club nights (the Underground Resistance, DeepSpace) and to art spaces and aerosol workshops - ESF has given many artists a stage for the first time.

Now it's time for ESF Records to bring you quality electronic music from across Australia and around the Globe - the best progressive, breaks, psytrance, dubstep, chill and experimental sounds around. ESF Records will deliver new, cutting edge artists along with those already established.
Nothing but the essentials to slam that funk to dance floors everywhere.

Expect releases from Pharmacrunk, Nokturnal, Fuez, Chunk Norris and a compilation from Bear in the next few months plus much more


MARCOLA - BRAZIL


Marcola is a lively techno DJ set created by Marcus Masironi, a native Brazilian from the vibrant city of Sao Paulo.
For the last 4 year, Marcus has been fine tuning his DJ set to increase it's authenticity. Onstage he tends to mix pulsating techno beats with the addition of psychedelic fusion, all driven with a rhythmic base line.
With a theoretical knowledge of music production, Marcus produces his own sample, percussion and personal audio effects which are combined to make an interactive presentation with an up beat atmosphere.
Marcus believes electronic music is a way to share emotions and thoughts that cannot easily be translated into words. Marcus' goal of every set is to help all his listeners engage with those inner emotions to break free of our daily social structure and confinements.
