Well done fellahs!

The run/walk strategy went out the door as soon as I got there, there was just too much atmosphere to soak up and enjoy. Conserved energy for the hill, then fucking stepped it up and saw it out with enough left to charge when I saw the finishing block. Oh my, no finer sight has hit my eyes.

Logged 89 mins. Was hoping to do under 100. Yeah buddies.

68:55! Stoked. Wanted to crack 75. Could have gone faster in the first 5 but wasn't sure about the old knee. But felt so good during the run. Couldn't get Internet reception at Bondi to find you cunce.

Next year I'm going for 65.

She got caught at work on Saturday and missed her flight. Not happy but I'll see her in 3 weeks when I head to Melbourne.

Lol SM, Glenn and Eddie saw that I wasn't just making this shit up.

Also, I feel bad for SM, his FZ is so much hotter than mine. And he's in it do much worse than me.

After that 'love' conversation we had in surprised she didn't say "challenge accepted"

Just joking, she's rad. Would be nice to hang out again, and good seeing you again Dave!

And damn Eddie you really are slim and lean these days, good job mate.

Well I went to bed shaking my head and have woken up the same. Was aiming for under 60 mins and time came through at 1.00.03. Very deflating but motivating I guess, going to print out the certificate and hang it on my wall as motivation. Got held up in crowds (1st tunnel was terrible), lot of zig zagging, was wedged into a complete stop at a drinks station and struggled into the wind the last few k's but it's that close I could have made that up somewhere ,not that I felt like i could have given more. I actually got more hold ups this year in red group then I did last year in the orange pram pushers group. Friggen freezing at the end.

I'm right in thinking that there was a time split at the bottom and top of heartbreak hill?

When/where do those official times go up?

I ran 62 minutes on my timer. 4 mins 26 seconds per km. Going to grab the SMH tomorrow to check my official time which may be a minute or two more, I was at the very back of the blue group and the whole of College Street was a walk.

Probably in for 2013, keen to push it harder in certain sections and try and better this year. It's an awesome morning with plenty of atmosphere, which really fuels the pace for the run.

Congrats to all those who participated and finished.

I don't go to be in the VIP area.. I don't need big breaks, a big song with a buildup and lights and smoke.. all you need is a kickdrum and a good bassline. You don't need any of that other shit. Na, I'm not going for none of those reasons.. I'm just going for the music.

When do the results go up online? Or are they just in the paper?

And are the official times from the gun or from when you cross the start line?

They'll go online too eventually (presume tomorrow) as you can find the previous year's results online as well: http://www.city2surf.com.au/default.asp?PageID=17808

I'm just checking out the upcoming running events here: http://www.coolrunning.com.au/calend...=NSW&Months=12

Looking for one in another 6-8 weeks to keep me honest, if anyone has any recommendations that would be tops.

I thought the official time would be going from when I heard the gun go off, but just saw on the map it's from the top of William Street.

Think a downloadable certificate becomes available soon with your time for all those unable to buy the SMH (not sure if that paper can be bought in other states).
