I agree with the above 100%! I am missing Four Tet to go to Subsonic and I am devastated. Even if it's a DJ set, please make it happen!!

Also, I think he'd have to play Sunday because he's doing Meredith on Friday night.

I'd 100% go to this festival simply if The Mollusk was booked. Best locally produced music of all atm. Full length LP release the other day is superb.

I do realise that. It was more just to point out the fact that the status had led me to believe that no one of "bigger" stature was going to be added. Anyway, I'm sure it will be a cracking weekend regardless and I am very much looking forward to it.

I'm not sure if this is your first Subsonic or not... but talking from my own experience last year was my first.
Prior to the lineup I had my hopes & expectations of who would be booked, when the lineup came out I was OK with it, without being overally pumped about it.

Anyway, you fast forget about who is actually playing & just enjoy the endless awesome music & being around friends & meeting strangers.. everybody is so chilled & easy going.. the lineup takes a back seat to the festival itself.

Personally, I am already happy with the 1st round lineup, especially Ryan Davis.

I am sure there will be plenty more great acts announced & if we get Michael Mayer, well I would be putting him above Catz n Dogz...

jesus some people are hard to please

you've got to bear in mind that its just the first round annoucement.....and there's a little something for everyone

personally im more than happy with adultnapper, ryan davis & nico stojan on the first round....and i know theres going to be a lot more names that im going to love.

add to that that subsonic is more than just some big names on a flyer......the production, location, people, and the fact that the festival runs 24/7 over 3 days blows every other festival (except maybe rainbow & eclipse) away...
