Huge win by Adelaide which will pretty much mean nothing when they play the hawks next week. But i had them pegged at quarter time

I feel for Silvagni. Played 5 games all year and had a big task playing on one of the better forwards in the comp. Good season Dockers.

Freo were pretty unlucky last night. Probably showed the two weeks of travel towards the end and were unfortunate that they had Pav playing while obviously injured. Ballantyne didn't get much of the ball which hurt as well but Mundy and Mayne were immense.

The Crows were fortunate in the end. Dangerfield has done nothing so far in the finals. If he fires and Thompson, Vince and Sloan start well I think they will go alright against the Hawks. They probably won't win but I think it will be close for most of the match, with the Hawks putting the after-burners on in the 4th to zoom off by the end.

Can't wait for tonight's game. I hope the Eagles and Pies smash each other to smithereens. I'm still tipping the Pies though in a close one by < 15 points.

If the Eagles keep it close the Pies might get the wobbles (but with the finals experience they have in the team they might just as well not: useless analysis is useless). Best chance would be for the Eagles to get a 20 point lead early and make the Pies chase the game. Also don't know how the Pies will win if Cloke doesn't kick a few goals. We won the first match, had a week off and didn't have to travel. Collingwood got smashed physically and on the scoreboard against hawks and then had a very physical contest against the Eagles. They were losing in the first half when the Eagles applied the same sort of pressure that we apply for an entire game. I'm pretty confident this time. We would have beaten them last time with straight kicking.

The more you talk it up the more confident I get.
