Y2K... Adrenalin. My band was playing funk & stuff out the back in the 'chill' area. we'd just played in Rundle Mall and had fireworks going off in the street ebfore us, then onto a rave for a double dose. We were on the fringes that night... but Stardust 2001 was my first marathon effort. Worth it for the sky-divers in the morning, and the crazy giant trampoline/harness contraption. I always take markers and a sketch book to these things.. for sketching out, y'know. Adelaide, I'm talkin'.

In a warehouse in London, had to ring up at 10pm for venue deets, turned out to be an abandoned warehouse on the docks with 2 sound systems running and cost price beers and other things. Production wasn't amazing but it was fun for sure.

Playground 3 or 4, i cant remember but it was in 2007, it was at the rebels clubhouse in kingswood, then i went to about 15 over the next 18 months before deeming that it was no longer my thing and that the scene was dead by the time i was 8.

pretty sure my first one was called mysteryland, there was the ultimate buzz and mc b performing, I think it was in 99 somewhere inner city sydney, raves killed my brain somewhat but I had heaps of fun so it was worth it

my first ever "dance party" (raves didn't exist yet) was a R.A.T party at the Hordern on NYE 1988.
Had been to clubs like sensoria, where they played this relatively new genre called house music, but the RAT party was when i first discovered acid house

Was 1995 I was 15 and a mates older sister took us to this small bush doof up in mount macedon, took half a trip with my mate and then that was me hooked.

Utopia 13 in 2001 was where I lost my raveginity.

Passion 4 at the Imax theatre was probably one of the most memorable tho.
