Jamie XX used a E&S DJR 400 for his roof top set. Absolutely magic piece of kit.

This is my current set up, running Traktor. I was going to look for another set of speakers to raise the height of the decks and mixer as they are way too low but now I'm thinking of getting rid of them all (except maybe the Leak Audios and the old JBLs) and getting an Ikea solution. Need the space back. No the speakers are not all connected, just the black Mackie monitors on top. Sh!t was like Tetris to try and put together to get the same height and width!

Update with custom welded speaker stands, Korg KP3 (right on the end), JBL S38 monitors and Focusrite 8i6 interface.

Added a CDJ 850, barely fits. 1200's now perilously close the edge of the expedit hah.

haven't been on this site in aggges. Moved to Melbs after moving back to Sydney then a stint in Perth.

But here's my current setup in the living room.

x2 Tcehnics 1200s, x1 Vetsax PDX 300, Rane 56 and Ecler Nuo 2.0. Perfect for scratch Jams.

Got another set of Tcehnics which I'll have set up in the bedroom

That's an awesome photo dude! It could be of two Walkmans plugged into a mixer and it would make DJing look cool

/\ Agreed, nice place to spin some wax!

What monitors you running?
But if your life is such a big joke, why should I care?

Just a single berringer pre amp monitor 100w. Running it mono. Gets the job done.

Sweet setup, but man, that's the skinniest living room in the world, ever!
Pete Gordon - Deep and Low

Slower tempo but still with balls, deephouse, slow-mo, futurehouse, nudeep, indie, nudisco, hints of progressive, whatever the fuck you want to call it, just good shit! Get on it

ez
couldn't find an "intros" thread to say "Hi" so thought this was as good a place as any. I'm in the uk but want to keep up to date with all techniques and technologies so am hoping you Aussies will welcome a foreigner. If it counts I spent a year working at James Cook Uni in Townsville a long time ago...

I've made my living from DJing for 25 years, done everything from the raves in 89, to silent discos in 2015. I've run my own clubs, held residencies, toured with bands, been an agency man at functions and enjoyed the festival circuit - and so as a jack of all trades (and a pretty tired one these days) I set up a DJ school to share the knowledge.

That's why this is my current set up lol:
