Co-producer with DJ Markey with numerous releases on C.I.A and Innerground Records. Besides many tracks of their own, they remixed the beautiful Open Your Eyes, from the band Snow Patrol, Back Like That from Ghostface Killah, among many others... so expect some major DJ Markey influences.. one could say it's like listening to DJ Markey, both in a Brasilian styleee..!

Along with the Bass Drop Residents, the mighty Q-BiK will be tearing up the decks

Dj Fresh feat MC Lowqui (UK - Dogs on Acid, Bad Company)

Best known as the front man of smash DnB band, Bad Company, with whom he won the same accolade the year previous, alongside DnB Arena's accolade of "The Best DnB Tune of All Time" with 'The Nine'. DJ Fresh was also voted high up in DnB Arena's Top 10 DJs.

Gold Dust has gone absolutely mental on every D n B chart..

Listen to Gold Dust - Click Here

Dan Fresh is yet to produce a tune that fails to reach Number 1 in Radio 1's DnB Chart, and has enjoyed top 20 success with 'More Fire', 'Barcelona', (executive producer) and top 10 with 'Miracle' (Pet Shop Boys). Responsible for signing Pendulum to the Breakbeat Kaos 'imprint', alongside Adam F, he also takes a vested interest in the internet. The site he founded and co-runs (www.dogsonacid.com) is the largest dance music message board in the world, with over 40 thousand members and over 80 million hits per month.

In every sense of the word, LowQui is the complete MC.

A host, a lyricist and a crowd entertainer, he brings a passion for drum n bass to the fore that is sure to electrify the dance. His love of the music always comes first and LowQui´s true skill is in matching his flow to the DJ to get the vibe of the night just right. With over a decade of experience at some of the biggest club nights across the UK and beyond, it´s no surprise that LowQui is Goldie´s number one MC of choice. In 2008, LowQui has continued his affiliation with Metalheadz as well as featuring alongside D-Bridge for the Exit Records boss debut album tour.

Ayeeeee.. :-)

I would urge everyone to come and see Bugle too... see if he's got that DJ Marky edge to him. Alsooo.. there should be a fair few brasilians there as the venue hosts a brasilian night every Sunday..so should be a good vibe..

oh.. not sure if you have seen this?? Expect this to be running of the shelves of The Record Store

TRACKS: HYPERCAINE (ORIGINAL EDIT) / HYPERCAINE (NERO DUBSTEP MIX)

PICTURE DISC: HYPERCAINE (ORIGINAL EDIT) / HYPERCAINE (DJ EDIT)

LABEL: BREAKBEAT KAOS CAT NUMBER: BBK030 / BBK030P RELEASE DATE: 21ST SEPTEMBER 2009

“Perhaps DJ Fresh has been the biggest influence on drum and bass we’ve ever known…” (Knowledge Mag)

Following up on his glorious electro-tinged smasher ‘Gold Dust’ of last year label boss Fresh now delivers the first single to be taken from his forthcoming album ‘Kryptonite’ slated for Spring 2010. Expect a slew of contagious, ear-pleasing beats like this over the coming months as he kicks off as he means to go on – this is the start of something special.

‘Hypercaine’ has been causing havoc on dance floors for a while now with the man himself proving it to be the perfect set opener. Old-skool pianos coupled with large synth pads lead the way into a tight two-step break that build to the dropout of full feel-good male vocals that get the floor smiling every time. Then in cuts the other half – a captivating female vocal that carries us to the drop of pumped up, disco-fuelled beats and bass creating something so much more than just a club anthem as the sing-a-long vibes ensue. Could Fresh be the Calvin Harris of D&B?

Not content with maxing out the aural pleasure on the flip the BBK crew rope in new exclusive signings Nero to add their take on ‘Hypercaine’. Changing styles again as they’re rapidly becoming known for, the Nero boys slow things down to transform it into a belting piece of future-dubstep using the vocals to serious effect. Watch for the breakbeat switch mid-way too, cool as hell!

As always with a Breakbeat Kaos single there’s also a picture disc available which comes with the original ‘Hypercaine’ and a super-fresh DJ-friendly version.

Widespread support from Adam F, Fresh, Sub Focus, Andy C, Friction, London Elektricity, High Contrast, Chase & Status and many more.

Cos I'm old and should know better! ;-)

Heavyweight is wicked and have that on the facebook invite page..

bit of info on me..I was out of the scene for ages.. old junglist till about 98.. then become a listener rather than a follower.. so been out of touch for a while.. basically when it went dark step..

BUT my ears are always open.. I have been listening to loads off more recent stuff on youtube, Dn B arena (been subscribed for a over a year now) and recently, Hospital records..

give me a few months and I will be back up to date.... :-)

Keep the music tips coming..

Who cares if they use old tunes for promo.

Snowcats is still up there in my top 5 of all time. Shot down on safari was so fucking awesome it hurts.

was good back in the day, hasn't really stood the test of time for mine though.

looking back on it, dogsploitation was probably the tune i played the most.

best track was the jellybean vocal but they never released that, the kents.

And with that post, Mikezilla strode on through the Drum and Bass forum and out the other side. Constantly scouring for dreams to crush and small children to devour.

It's a beautiful day for Drum n Bass... Just off to the airport to pick Bungle up.. should be a good night. Kick off at 9pm with Linken, Vertigo & Element MC... Bungle on @ 11pm and then Q-Bik on at 1am... $20 on the door... With Bungle on at 11pm, you will have enough time to get some sleep before work then ext day.. ;-) see you all there..

really looking forward to this
This kid has such an amazing amount of talent, everything he touches is just so clever and
musically rich and interesting without being repetitive

and thanks for putting him up at 11, wouldn't be going if it had been midnight or even later

really was a refreshing night of beautiful liquid. the guys set was just melodic and flowing, reminded of good house DJs where he just moved the pace brilliantly, from nice driving techy bits into atmospherics and then soulful female vocals, loving it!
