When I think of the OLD SKOOL days I think of the Powerhouse – Back of the Palace – TVU Warehouse – Show Grounds – Shed 9 – Shed 14 – Global Village – 0055 numbers – inner city secret locations – Beat in the Street – White Doves – Daffies – Red Dragons – Fruit Bowls – Twin Argon Laser – catching the last train into the city and then catching the first train home, whilst uncontrollably nodding my head to the train rhythms – I think of Dougie with his laser guns – white glove man – hockey mask man- gazelles – baggy jeans with check shirts – whistles – listening to mixed tapes in strangers cars – massive hugs – Chuppa Chumps – fists punching the air – gurning – screaming – going nuts – & STOMPING -
So with this in mind I give you ARM in ARM!

After the mega success of the last years party we’re back once again.

Each DJ is hand picked for their obsession with old skool music.
AiA is a basic no frills event – with a simple party philosophy –

I actually have this show on disk, there is a link on Gary shepperds cyba-faeries site which also includes 3 downloads of old beat in the street shows, most interesting is the show featuring Jeff Tyler doing a warm up for the Frank de wulf show at the back of the palace.
Btw Benjam, i dont get the bit about the stickers, but i do remember the hand painted magnets that were placed around the venue, as you walked into Embrace NYE there was about ten on the table where you gave them your ticket......fun times

Can you point to the link? I can't see it. Would love to hear this, was it the night of the party or the week before? I did a live cross to Kate from the back of the palace reception phone just before Frank started. Such a fun night & I still have his set somewhere on cassette!
