Bhokero & Dey have played at the most important prestigious clubs in Indonesia, sharing the decks with a whole host of internationally recognised artists such as Erick Morillo, John Digweed and Bassment Jaxx. This excellent soulful track has already won Song of the Year 2009 in Indonesias REDMA Music Awards and Dj Bhokero won the 2008 REDMA House Dj of the Year and was nominated again for 2009. Once again with Seamlessīs has produced and excellent package with different takes of the original, with remixes from Conan Liquid, Distant People and Thomas Toccafondi. The first set of remixes are from Conan Liquid, well known for his tracks on house music heavyweights labels such as Defected, Strictly Rhythm, Z Records, Mn2S and more recently Seamless Twelves, with a superb remix of Soulbasics Cant Deny. His main mix is an uplifting afro style vocal mix whilst the dub takes a four to the floor , which is reminiscent of Pete Hellerīs anthem Big Love The second remix comes from Distant People aka Joey Silvero, who have recently produced the highly successful Sister Pearl Bang The Drum along with Tasita DīMour. He has produced an uptempo funky remix. With tight production and excellent chord structure this is the perfect track for funky house dance floors and has been very popular in Ibiza this summer. The last remix comes from Frances Thomas Toccafondi. With releases on labels such as Duffnote, Soundman On Wax and Sofitone, he has taken the track in another direction. He has taken this track on a deeper tip using chord and bass stabs along with New York styled beats to create a very slick mix that for sure will be popular with lovers of more underground soulful house. |
