Whether your weekend is just peaking or you`re still buzzing from parklife and wanna let the good times roll.. do it at Perths favorite afterparty club with two of the loosest duo`s in modern dance, SLAM and the LOOSE CANNONS.

Performing at the worlds hottest festivals including Oxygen, 10 days off and Glastenbury, remixing for the likes of Josh Wink, Paul Ritch and Radio Slave and running their seminal Label, SOMA, SLAM have been smashing their way to the top of techno mountain and aint coming down any time soon..

Meanwhile Downstairs, The Don-Daddas of DJ Duo-dom, Kaiser Saucy & Lord Fader have rocked the party across the world, from the E4 Skins house-party in London, to the Australian Music Awards in Sydney, aboard Armani`s yacht in Monte Carlo, to student parties in NYC, narrowly avoiding arrest in Dubai, via an uber-art exhibition in Singapore, Manumission in Ibiza, and Exit in Serbia, and even Keith-Prodigy`s wedding, as well as hitting all the main UK festivals, including Glastonbury, V, Lovebox and TDK Cross Central. Radio1`s Rob Da Bank described the LCs as `undoubtedly the finest party djs this side of Mars and our Festival after party DJs of choice.`

If you remember all the crazy Afterparties at shape last summer including Future Music Fest, Good Vibes, V Fest and Summadayze, you know what to expect, and you also know that grabbing a presale ticket is the way to go, guaranteed entry, avoid the queue and walk straight in from the festival to continue the party. EZ. Grab a $15 early bird ticket from the shape site, they are limited and will sell out. http://www.shapebar.com.au

SLAM
SLAM need no introduction. The legendary UK techno duo of Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle have travelled far and wide, touring Australia, the USA, Europe, South America and Japan and hold residencies at 2 of the UK`s best clubs (Pressure in their home town of Glasgow and Fabric in the nation`s Capital, London.)

2008/2009 has been one of their busiest periods ever. Performing dynamic sets at many of the world`s leading festivals including Monegros, Oxygen, Bestival, 10 Days Off, Extrema, Glastonbury and T In The Park. They have also played at some of the world`s best clubs including the legendary Womb In Tokyo, Cocoon in Frankfurt, Rex in Paris and Berlin`s infamous Watergate and Berghain to name a few. At the end of 2008 they celebrated 10 years of their own club Pressure, with a Mixmag cover mount CD and a string of hit releases including `Hot Knives`, `Ghost Song` and `City Destroyer`.

Their new label Paragraph sees the pair focus on their own productions entirely. The first release `City Destroyer`, with its sinister pitched vocals and crafty, crisp and skippy electronic soundscapes, secured club plays from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer and Laurent Garnier. Paragraph 2, `Hot Knives`, was even bigger staying in the Beatport top 10 for 10 weeks with plays from just about every big name including Carl Craig, Anja Schneider, Dave Clarke and Dubfire. There will be an album with an exciting new concept based around Paragraph later in the year.

This surge in activity has put them in demand as remixers with fellow big names such as Josh Wink, Paul Ritch and Radio Slave calling on their services. On top off all this they still find the time for new projects like Paragraph records. New releases include Paragraph 3, featuring Slam tracks `One Note Samba` and `Room 2`, and Slam remixes of Samuel L Session `Can You Relate`, Paul Ritch `The Wolf` and Fabio Gianelli `Apparlas` on Material. They have also completed an EP, along with Rejected`s Joris Voorn & Edwin Oosterwal, for Podium boss Len Faki`s Figure label. SLAM are currently finishing remixes for Josh Wink, The Black Dog, Silicone Soul and Steve Lawler.

SLAM are also the proud co-owners of Soma Records, which, in its 18th year, continues to be one of the world`s finest purveyors of cutting edge electronic music, with recent releases and remixes from Silicone Soul, the Black Dog, Mihalis Safras, Mark Broom, Joris Voorn, Prompt, Samuel L Session, Christian Prommer, Radio Slave, Paul Ritch, D`Julz, Adam Beyer, Steve Rachmad, Itamar Sagi and Funk D Void.

Slam have just curated and played at the massive Slam Tent at Scotland`s T in the Park festival (which they have organised since 1997) and they also recently headlined the G stage at the Glastonbury festival, as well as performing live at Awakenings and Extrema in Holland and Space in Ibiza. They also hosted a special Soma Records showcase at La Terrrazza in Barcelona during Sonar. Slam are residents at Return To Mono (Sub Club) & Pressure in Glasgow and Fabric in London.

THE LOOSE CANNONS
From the casino rooftops of Vegas to the New Year`s crowds of the Australian Festivals The Loose Cannons have come a long, long way from their humble beginnings in a bedsit in South London, and are one of the most critically, media and industry acclaimed Artists, DJ/Producers and Radio Broadcasters of their generation.

The Don-Daddas of DJ Duo-dom, Kaiser Saucy & Lord Fader have rocked the party across the world, from the E4 Skins house-party in London, to the Australian Music Awards in Sydney, aboard Armani`s yacht in Monte Carlo, to student parties in NYC, narrowly avoiding arrest in Dubai, via an uber-art exhibition in Singapore, Manumission in Ibiza, and Exit in Serbia, and even Keith-Prodigy`s wedding, as well as hitting all the main UK festivals, including Glastonbury, V, Lovebox and TDK Cross Central. Radio1`s Rob Da Bank described the LCs as `undoubtedly the finest party djs this side of Mars and our Bestival after party DJs of choice.`

In the UK, their show on world-famous dance music radio station Kiss 100 (www.totalkiss.com/loosecannons) won a Specialist Award at the prestigious Sony Radio Awards in it`s 1st year on air and has subsequently tripled it`s audience share. They are now tastemakers the industry and public look to for the newest in all things-house music. Their keen ear for the Underground has led them to be the first to discover & champion many new artists, including Herve, Kissy Sell Out, Sinden, Space Cowboy, Boy-8 Bit, Does it Offend You Yeah, Foamo… and many more. Other heavy-hitters passing through flexing their Cred-entials include MSTRKRFT, Switch, Groove Armada, M.I.A., Timo Maas, Freestylers, CSS, Alex Gopher, Speakerjunk, Tom Middleton, Sinichi Osawa, Riva Starr, to name but a few.

as well as finding time to remix the likes of Lady Gaga, Roisin Murphy, Justice, Cassette Jam, and Sunday Best, they have Recently had TWO top 5 hits in South Africa and their music has been used in campaigns for multinational corporations such as TDK, Nokia, Bacardi & Red Bull. They had a top 10 in DJ download`s charts with their cover of Janet Jackson`s `What Have You Done For Me Lately?`. Forthcoming mixes for labels Big Dada and Mad Decent, keep the heat on for the summer.

The Loose Cannons ARE the party.

Ok we have some bad news to announce.

Our wonderfully forward-thinking government has decided that you all can't be trusted drinking until 2am, so instead we are going to have to kick you all out the street at 1am (which we are sure will all make you behave in a much better manner !!!!!).

So due to this, Shape will be opening at 9pm on Sunday, and closing at 1am. There will also be a lockout from 12am.

SET TIMES
Upstairs...
09.00 - 10.00 Smith Brothers
10.00 - 11.00 Flex vs Aarin F
11.00 - 01.00 SLAM

Downstairs...
09.00 - 10.00 HIckey
10.00 - 11.00 Bad Weather
11.00 - 01.00 LOOSE CANNONS

You will be aware of how crazy it is to try and get in to a Shape afterparty, so if you want to ensure entry, get your tix now at www.shapebar.com.au

If your not going to Parklife, we would advise you get in before 10pm, as from previous experience it will be madness after that, and we can't ensure you will get in before 11pm.

NOW i'm pumped!

Slam played a great set as did the support crew. A definite party vibe as could be expected and it was great to have patches of ballsy techno.
