Thom Yorke's new live band

Flea on bass, Nigel 'Jesus' Godrich on synths, drum machines guitars etc...and a couple of other dudes

I was far more impressed than I thought I'd be. It was meant to be a trial/practice performance but it's fairly fucking tight.

All the tracks they played are on youtube, they are all pretty damn solid imo.

harrowdown hill

cymbal rush (not complete but awesome)
Media Player

a radiohead b-side (paperbag writer), very groovy

yeah it blew my tits off that one did...and it's the only track i couldn't find a full version of.

I think flea is improving those notes he plays in the higher octave at the start cause thom smiles in suprise...it's excellent. I understanding that me noticing that takes my love to a whole new level of sad.

I wish Thome yorke would get off this scatterish trip he is on and get around to writing focused albums like Ok computer and Kid A..
The media has blown too much wind up his arse and he is starting to think everything he does is a bit too wonderful.

new stuff is less genius but there's more sentiment in it.

The kid a/OK computer days are gone....gotta let it go.

doesn't make sense to me. Kid A and Amnesiac are effectively the same album broken in to two. Same recording sessions etc

+ you and whose army is on Amnesiac and that track pwns all
