SHOCKWAVE IV: Cotti (UK) 7 November, Hippo

Cotti (UK).One of the UK’s premier Dubstep DJ/producers is coming right here to Canberra. In case ya dun no Cotti is a talented musician as a Deejay, Producer, MC and label owner of -30 Recordings.
Founder of the 4NFORMAT grime crew back in 2004, over this period he was introduced to Dubstep by none other then Rinse FM’s , DMZ and FWD resident DJ Chef. From this point Cotti’s interest in Dubstep grew working with some of the scenes biggest names including Kromestar, Skream, J Sweet and many more have helped with releases on grime labels and a forthcoming Dubstep EP on -30.

Cotti has also played at the massive DMZ at the mass, Dubloaded in Bristol & for channel 4 radio just to name a few. He has also guested on kiss 100 Dj Hatcha's show and Dj Cameo's BBC 1xtra show.

Cottis’ set at SHOCKWAVE on November 7 will be one to remember. This will be a unique experience to see one of the worlds best DJs in the intimate setting of Hippo bar.

SHOCKWAVE is the premier Dubstep night in ACT. We continually strive to get the best DJs and MCs, the best sound system and the best vibe.

Believe that the sound will be correct. Believe that Cotti will bring the goods. Believe that all the DJs will be pulling out their A-Game.

The last SHOCKWAVE had over 300 people on a Thursday night. With limited tickets of 92 available on the door you best get there early or you will miss out, sucka!

that was sick!

thanks to all who came out and supported, it was heaps fun partying with you all!

faux real played the perfect opening set and then was soundbwoy all nite
aeon played some wicked live remixes- big tings ahead mate
buick was solid, didnt miss a beat
crooked sounds- well excpet for the first and last tracks it was all 100% original beats
cotti- dropped some stone cold bombs, was mciing and singing and just smashed up the dance
shifty business- cannot speak highly enough of these lads, played a PRO set at the end of the nite
harlequin added the right bit o heat on the mic and was a great host

massive shout outs to:
The souljahs, the steppers and the shockwave regulars
Hippo bar- you looked after everyone really well
the DJs- wicked sets from all
camilla for designing the poster
mark for helping with the promo
