► THE ACHE VISION ----------------------------- The ACHE family is passionate about funky, soulful, jackin house music and pride ourselves on dynamic and inclusive events, inspired by the traditional roots of soul, funk and jazz. Our DJs are strongly influenced by Chicago jackin house and New York soulful house. Beautiful soulful vocals, layered with live trumpet, sax and percussion accompany our resident DJs smooth organic house rhythms, creating a synergy of sound and a magnetic funk-filled atmosphere. Our resident DJs have been hand selected based on their talent, technical skills, passion for music and spirit when they perform. We completely ache for their sound. We are seeking like-minded musicians to come on board as ACHE RESIDENT MUSICIANS to perform live with our DJs at our events with the opportunity to form a group with our DJs and produce music. -------------------------------------- ► THE ACHE MUSO SEARCH -------------------------------------- Blow My Horn. Bang My Drum. Burn My Soul. ACHE MUSO SEARCH launches Friday 13th November at the newly refurbished Mars Lounge. We are looking for musicians who are just as passionate as we are about PROPER funky, soulful, jackin house music. We want musicians who will be part of the family, to become ACHE residents, play live at our gigs, jam with us and have a vision of producing music. Musicians who can pimp out some wicked riffs and really get the crowd going! Musicians who will help us to build the atmosphere at our events! We are looking for session players and Sydney's best up-and-coming talent! ----------------------------- ► THE CATEGORIES ----------------------------- There will be one winner from each of the following 4 categories: ► Drums ► Trumpet ► Sax ► Percussion ----------------------------- ► THE WINNERS ----------------------------- ► Paid residency with ACHE Entertainment, which includes regular gigs with our DJs at various venues across Sydney, including residency at Mars Lounge and the opportunity to form a group with our resident DJs. ► Become a valued member of the ACHE family and be supported and marketed as an artist through ACHE. ► Individual editorial piece in 3D World. ► Musician profile on Boost FM (internet radio streamed globally) and future live streaming of performances. ----------------------------- ► HOW TO REGISTER ----------------------------- There are 2 ways to register.... 1. Musicians are required to download a 30 minute mix (after registering online @ www.ache4house.com), which they are to perform with for their audition. This may be recorded in a studio or with video camera. Production of audition piece is not required to be of high quality, however must be clearly audible. 2. Alternatively, musicians may submit a live recording of previous performance playing with a DJ.
