Hi folks, Thought I'd let people know about a special gig my band Lychee Martini are doing with our good friends Lowkey + Nude from Brisbane and DJ Dave Chestwig on Nov 26th at Miss Libs in the city, see what's on for full details... For those who love their bands and their electronica, this is the perfect mix. Deep grooves and smooth sounds all night, with two of the hottest women in town, Nicole and Nude, seducing us with their vocals  Lychee Martini are promoting the release of their debut EP 'Volume 1', CD's available for sale on the night, and downloads from all major online stores by December 4th (on its way now). Love your beats...but have to saying, putting Lychee into a martini would be able to worst thing one could ever do to such a fantastic drink

 Not for the purists ey?Actually the name came up as a result of playing a gig in Hong Kong a few years ago when we first started - for a while we were doing shows on the Asian fashion circuit for catwalk shows and parties (nice  )This particular party had a dedicated Lychee Martini bar set up, serving nothing but, and it was the first time any of us had partaken. It was the combination of the drink, the little bar serving them, and the party overall, it was all so exotic and classically 'Hong Kong' that it cemented the name for us. Cheers re the beats too |
