Sarah Mcleod's new release

As a dj i'll never forget the 1st time I heard the Sarah Mcleod and Hook n Sling remix collaboration. Id be surprised if there was an electro dj that didn't have that in their disc wallet in 2008. Ball tearer!

Finally she's just about ready to release her new album, reportedly a fushion of dance, pop. Her 1st single's here "Tell Your story Walking". Check out the track and DZP remix here http://www.myspace.com/sarahmcleod.

What do you think?

The fusion of her rock voice and electro beats works well, so well that after "He Doesn't Love You" she's been jet setting around clubs all over the world and collaborating with many artists and producers. Embracing the dance scene she's gone on to release "White Horse" which charted in the UK and US.

Finally she's just about ready to release her new album, a fushion of dance, pop. Finally her 1st single's here "Tell Your story Walking", an anthem in celebration of overcoming personal doubt. Check out the track and DZP remix here http://www.myspace.com/sarahmcleod.

Let me know your thoughts?

i remember that hook n sling tune, use to be pretty good back in the day...

which artists has she collaborated with out of curiosity?

The Questionable Intent boys from Brooklyn, (Free and Jimmy James). also was asked to produce, write, play guitar and collaborate with the QI boys for artists including Mike Posner, The Game, 3OH!3, Missy Elliot.

I'm looking forward to hearing the album when its released to hear the collaborations. On her website it says her album is due out in Australia 2010 through her own label (Roustabout Records).

It's inevitable all the music genres will combine..... probably not country and electro though ha ha. I hope not anyway.

Wow, following in the footsteps of Sophie Ellis Bextor I see in making the indie to dance-pop crossover.
I quite liked the superjesus.

Yeah I was SuperJesus fan. Hopefully she doesn't go quite as commercial as Sophie Ellis Baxtor.
I played the DZP remix the other night at the Sheaf and it went pretty well.
