Future Classic : Jamie Lloyd 'Beware of the Light' Album Launch : Sat 14 Nov barsoma
To launch the release of Jamie Lloyds new album on Future Classic - Beware of the Light, the lads from down south are embarking on a nation wide tour showcasing Jamie's brand new LIVE show. Barsoma will be hosting the Brisbane leg of the tour and it promisies to be something very special.
Jamie has established himself as one of Austrlia's formost muscial talents over the past few years and the new album is certainly no exception. His music already recieves plays from artists including Steve Bug, Laurent Garnier, Charles Webster, Daniel Wang, Ame, Llorca, Anja Schneider and Jennifer Cardini to name just a few. More details on the album can be found in the What's On but it can be downloaded at Beatport, through itunes or at your favourite local or online record store. There is also a review that can be found here Jamie really is a amazing artist (probably my personal favourite Australian musician) so I would encourage everyone to come along and check him out. For those who have witnessed one of his dj sets over the past few years you will know how good he is, and his new LIVE show is just sensational. See you all on the dance floor

I have been waiting a long time for this, Mike i have to agree with you, Jamie is probably my favourite Australian musician at the moment... Playing at this is an honour for me.. and after hearing the record the whole way through its going to be a seriously awesome set!

Set times:
9-10 Mike Redfern 10-11 Nick T 11-12 Mike Redfern & Nick T 12-1 Jamie Lloyd [LIVE] 1-2 Chappo 2-3 Dan Gavel 3- Close Chappo and Dan Gavel Jamie may play for longer if the crowd are up for it, but at this stage his LIVE show set for an hour. From all reports though it is tearing up the country so i would not want to miss this!

Nice one, very much looking forward to Jamie playing live, will definately be quailty.
Hopefully the crowd is up for it and Jamie plays for a longer, would be fantastic to see.

jury is still out for me, im not sure which was the winner - jamie's set or jamie's shirt. both were brilliant! live vox were a nice touch too.
soma needs to sort out that old air con duct, jamie's bassrines almost brought it down
