Arrow Roger Shah (Magic Island/Armada) - Saturday 14 November 2009 @ Rise

Get set for an epic 3hrs+ semi-live keyboard/laptop performance from the world #21 DJ. Anyone who witnessed Roger's Australian debut in May in will know exactly how awesome this will be.

Roger Shah
(Magic Island, Armada /Germany)

There is absolutely nothing Going Wrong for Roger Shah right now. In a stellar year, rising to number #21 in the DJ Mag top 100, Roger shook the pavement with three massive album releases on Trance Giant Armada and was awarded #1 spot for trance hit on online music site Beatport. Armin Van Buuren had three of Roger’s songs in his ‘A State of Trance’ top 100 and to top it all off, he has been nominated in dance music’s night of nights, the 24th Annual International Dance Music Awards in Miami for best break-through DJ of 2008. Roger Shah’s semi-live performance with keyboard and laptop provides an epic trance journey, equipped with his biggest hits, remixes and new unreleased material with collaborations from trance’s biggest names. Roger blew Rise away in a massive night earlier this year so we all know exactly how good this is going to be.

Saturday 14th November 2009

Door sales only from 9.30pm
Rise members $10 before 11pm $15 thereafter.
Non-members $15 before 11pm $25 thereafter.

Unless the Sydney gig got cancelled, Home and Progression Project hosted Roger Shah in Sydney.

Fuck, I forgot how good trance is for getting you hyped up. I haven't been to a trance event since Armada at Amnesia in '08. I'm gonna have to start going to more again. Hope its good tonight.

There were ravers trying to shuffle to balearic? Uhoh.

Cut that I missed this as I do love Shah and Balearic Trance when I'm in the right mood for it. Last time he came was awesome!

"Ravers" will try to shuffle to anything.

On another note - I remember seeing quite a few people getting kicked out of Rise that night..

Bit odd isn't it, guess they are trying to target people who can't handle their shit. Ohwell good on em. Rise has definintely started to change in the last year or two for the better, including the acts they are getting in! So I'm not complaining!!

Spewin I missed Dj Shah... Had big plans for the night but they all fell apart last minute and couldn't even make it in at all. Next time for sure!! Last time he played at Rise was wicked, hope it was as great again this time round!!
