Nick Warren
As usual, another awsome mix by 'THE' man Nick Warren.

Really love the track at the 30.50 mark. and the ball tearer that follows

2007 has been an amazing year for that progressive sound. Sooooooo much amazing tunage.

I find myself falling in love with a different track every couple of days or so.

Enjoy.

You're not wrong Di.

Watched as he played a 2 hour closing set at FMF this year.

Was ok, just not the same and definitely not enough.

I was pretty pissed when I heard that he wouldn't be playing a side show in a club enviroment.

What upset me most was that Nick Warren was here promoting GU30 and imo, he never really got to deliver it properly.

Oh well, maybe next year.

Yeah, that FMF set was fun, but not the journey kinda set I'd like to see Nick play. Actually, even though it was an intimate club, 350+ people on a Thursday night, the only other time I've seen him I felt the same. A mate who had seen him twice said he was "an average mixer, but creates amazing sets" yet I thought the complete opposite! Mixing was spot on, but the set was all over the shop! Housey one minute, electro the next, prog the next, rock booties the next. It was a "fun" set, but it had zero flow to it really. Even played a freakin' Beach Boys remix! :cringe:
Pete Gordon - Deep and Low

Slower tempo but still with balls, deephouse, slow-mo, futurehouse, nudeep, indie, nudisco, hints of progressive, whatever the fuck you want to call it, just good shit! Get on it

Aw man he made the nastiest messup of a backspin ever at FMF Perth. Usually his mixing is pretty well spot-on, so I guess jetlag must've taken its toll.

I can't wait to see him in a club setting over east.

^^^^ Which is why I use mediafire, I'll re up it . It' a good set even if it does support the theory about his mixing. I'm still listening to it on a regular basis.

Hehe yeah what muli said.

If you had a ratio of price to mixing skill and rated international DJ', Nick's would be the worst. That said, he's got great taste and rocks clubs/events regardless, seen him twice now and loved both sets.

Sigh. Nick's mixing isn't that bad. In this day and age who gives a shit about 8 minute mixes? Nobody.

His set at Sounds on NYD was the best I've ever seen. And I didn't hear a single fuck up, other than the fact that the sound was fucked at the start of the set.

Nick rocks. Bring him back out.

Would have to be Deep Dish, as was on his Revelations CD. One of the best mix comps ever, Danny Howells on the flip at the height of his game.

This and the track immediately after it are great - and the mix as a whole has some quality tuneage sprinkled through it, all mixed rather well apart from one minor case of the gallops IMO.

Nick really is at the top of his game at the moment. I am more pumped about seeing Nick in a few weeks than I was for future. I cannot believe tickets for him in Brisbane only cost $12.50. Still some of my favourite gigs ever that I have been to are Nick Warren gigs, I have never been disappointed whenever I have seen him and I don't expect I will be in April either

Agreed. Have seen him many times and he always manages to tear clubs apart.

His track selection is amazing and can't wait to hear the tunage he'll drop for us at BA.

I would like to take a moment to apologise to Warren.

I have not heard anything that has interested me since I saw him at Future in 07...basically I had written him off.

Listening to his Transitions mix and others it is clear he is a gun.
