You mean the rollies papers? There a like 6 different things, a prawn, thong, fly etc and they have a stupid little australian stories inside. Why? I don't know.

Speaking of smoking implements (sp) coles refused to sell me a cigarette lighter the other day, because i wouldn't show id. The claimed it was a 'tobacco product'. The place where they sell there cigarettes and such is out the front so i was tempted to just walk inside and buy some matches, but i ended up going to a smoke shop that sold me a lighter no questions asked. Pretty fucked up if you ask me :S

That's fucked up, I would have asked for a manager, then asked the manager to show me where in the coles or liquor licencing manual does it say that they can't sell lighters without ID.

really? i bet you wouldn't.

and even if you did the manager would have told you that it is company policy to ask for ID for any product sold from the cigarette counter that is catagorised under the same code as tobacco products.

to my knowledge there is a grey area regarding sale of lighters to minors. coles (and most other large retailers) are being proactive and prohibiting there sale.
