Gmail just let through as a virus, labelled a UPS cover note. Almost opened it before I thought for more than 1 second and realised wtf I was doing.

Scifi party coming up, gf decides she'll be slave Princess Leia. Only obvious choice for me then is this;

Spoiler:

Digging the outfit, you could have someone go as a Ghostbuster with a disguised vacuum cleaner on their back, then set it to exhaust and pump warm air into Jabba, of course he'd need to be plugged into an outlet, but otherwise it seems foolproof.

Where do you jerks buy nice shirts online? Just spent an hour wading through terrible shirts with massive collars. I thought small ties/knots/collars were in, when I was in a store the other day the bitch told me double windsor, 70's collars and 3 meter wide ties were the go.

I don't wear shirts that much, but most of what I own are from Ben Sherman, imo pretty tasteful stuff and reasonably priced.

I had all mine made at Garrods Lane in Sydney but I wasn't impressed by their customer service and varying degrees of quality. Plus I've got a bunch of shirts so stop using them.

P Johnson apparently does good shirts. Once you go bespoke, you never go back to off the rack.

bespokey doke.

On the topic of shirts, the majority of my work shirts are 100% cotton however I have a couple of cheapies that are a cotton/polyester blend and...

THEY ARE WRINKLE PROOF

Only found that out the other day; was impressed.

Peter, no. It's a slippery slope. Next thing you know you're microfibre-suit-guy "but it goes right in the washing machine!" Be careful.

Synthetic fibres are the devil. I could sweat like a mule in a 100% cotton shirt or 100% wool suit and never smell. Throw in a bit of synthetic and I might as well throw it all away after a few wears.

Nah no chance.

Was just a realisation that my cheaper shirts were less maintenance. They don't look as pretty though, and I'm all about the pretty.

went to woolies and some obese **** had a go at me for not wearing shoes (hurrr it's illegal and not safe), didn't say a thing to my tank-as-fuck friend next to me who was wearing neither shirt nor shoes.

told him I don't take health and safety advice from fat ****s, think he was about 5 seconds from decking me before he huffed off in a cloud of fat.
