^^ will that work for the 2000xl? or only the 1000/2500?

pretty sure it should work for the 2000xl, as i belive the 1000 will read 2000xl sequences and programs.

On the weekend i caught up with family in sydney. after lunch in a pub in balmain i went past Adriano Zumbo's place and got a few cakes (fucking yum!!) anyhoo, on the way back to the car a little old dude was putting a load of stuff out on the front lawn. long story short, i got a free one of these

The last of the kb versions turned up, damaged. Must be karma from me telling off Jude. Out of 3 v-synth kbs I've had delivered here two of them arrived hurt. Side panel damage. Jeebus Jude!! Seriously nice piece of kit, back from the era when Dj gear exuded quality. Stunning in function and form!

it belonged to his son who is some award winning architect. he went over to england for work. he told his dad to get rid of it.... so he did!

Anyone upgrading to Komplete 9?

You get: MONARK monosynth (Reaktor-based Minimoog emu), BATTERY 4 drum sampler, THE GIANT (piano sample library), SESSION STRINGS and SOLID MIX SERIES.

If I upgrade will NI send me DVDs or am I going to have to download all that shiz? Upgrade price aint so bad at $149.

When I upgraded a komplete series they sent me all the dics. It's exactly the same if someone is buying komplete as a new customer, they just know its a upgrade through the service center

Despite not being able to sing if my life depended on it, I've always wanted a Voicelive Touch. Now that version 2 is out, I caved in.



The rackmount version is only $200 more if importing but probably won't be as easy to use as the desktop/mic-mount model.

This arvo I swapped out my big Denon integrated amp that was powering my passive monitors with this scratched up thing I ended up buying off a mate instead of selling for him:



I dug inside, cleaned it up, and wired up both cooling fans to run off one source so it's nice and quiet now.

Edit: and so is doesn't simply blow the cones out of the tiny things connected to it I've just bought an Ashly XR-2001 crossover to tame the low bass.

picked up both for under $800, all i need is some new voices for the 106.

Ashly XR2001 4x 2 way/2x 3 way, and picked up another P4500, fuct if I know why, maybe cos they are THX rated and cheap.
