I don't play a lot of FPS, so I've mostly stuck with higher end wireless mice for convenience over the years. My experience with logi wireless mice has been pretty terribad.
Had the G7 wireless back in the day, after a year the main mouse button microswitch failed (would do this double click thing, fucking annoying)
Had the G700 more recently, cursor started skipping everywhere after a few months. Took it apart, tried to clean it, still had probs. Was quite responsive when it worked though, you could still tell a bit of a difference between when it was running though wireless and the usb cable though.
Had numerous other non gaming mid and higher end wireless Logi notebook mice between them (vx nano, M905 are the ones I can remember), and they've ALL failed me prematurely.
Currently have both the Razer Mamba for a desktop and the Razer Orochi for my laptop. Whilst Razers software isn't the greatest (neither is logi's for that matter), I've had both for more than a year and no issues, which is more than any logi wireless mouse has lasted me. They both work in wired mode, so if you are finding in a frenzied gaming session the wireless isn't up to scratch, it's not a total loss and you can switch to wired.
For me the Orochi wireless isn't that great, but still passable for most gaming that isn't twitch reflex fps.. I think the Mamba you could get away with in an FPS though, unless you're some kind of pro clan dude.
Let Life Support and Dr Rudi do it right for you.
