Hermitude - 'Tales of the Drift' out AUGUST 1

Just a heads up to the ones who appreciate the ill beats of Hermitude.

The new album is called 'Tales of the Drift' and it's out through Elefant Traks with Inertia Distro on AUGUST 1.

We've got some mixtape-teaser style promo CDs that we'll be handing out over the next month too.

It's knocked me for 6 - it's that good. But if you know Hermitude you know to expect nothing less.

btw, the album will be available on the normal sweet digipacks Elefant Traks always do - but we'll be putting the album out on a *full colour gatefold double vinyl*. Yes... yes it's true.

More info to follow.

Hermitude are one of the very few acts, where I can be 100% confident in buying a new album of theirs without hearing any of it first. Can't wait!

As will I. This Monday. Or on the weekend if I can manage to find a shop who've opened their mail a little bit early.

Huzzah!

Album is officially out NOW.

Double vinyl out very shortly - should be in the coming weeks.

First single 'Fallen Giants' is on Triple J atm. Their album is Album of the Week on @ser and FBi this week.

Check the Blaze review in 3D World.

National tour information to be everywhere shortly.

Vinyl heads look out. I picked up the finished vinyl package from customs this morning and it looks fuckin awesome.

I didn't know what to expect until i saw it - but then i saw it and felt the heart palpitations that are another way of saying "you love me don't you? yes you do, now you must die."

that's all. another day at the office.

street release date is Monday 22nd August so knock on your vinyl specialist and hear/see for yourself.

Nice stuff - the ITM review copy's currently rocking the drywall down here at evil towers. I particularly love 'Observation Deck', which got a lively hammering through the airwaves on my radio show down Canberra way last weekend...

Props to the ones like Elefants...

Hermitude all over Radio National this Friday

Radio National's Tim Ritchie is dedicating his whole show this Friday night to the new album. He's playing selected cuts from Tales of the Drift, as well as the whole mixtape. Anyone who is curious about them should tune in...

absolutely brilliant album. Those boys know how to make music.

Apart from the MC Blu track, which seemed out of place and didn't really do it for me this is 100% fanfuckingtastic. Love it.

Have been playing it non stop in my car and it gets even better with each listen.
