Anyone still got a copy of this lurking in a draw somewhere? Can't believe the only copies listed on Discogs are $26+...most mix CDs of that era you wouldn't get a fucking buck for!

Media Player
Pete Gordon - Deep and Low

Slower tempo but still with balls, deephouse, slow-mo, futurehouse, nudeep, indie, nudisco, hints of progressive, whatever the fuck you want to call it, just good shit! Get on it

Would it be too much to ask for it to be uploaded to somewhere like soundcloud so we can all have a listen? I used to love this CD and have been looking for it for ages!

Central Nervous System Dj Vagas
Wow. What a blast from the past!!
Loved it!
It was a little bit cheesy in some sections of the cd, but still, it is a classic of its time. How good where Jimmy J & Crul-T?!! Not to mention Slipmatt as well at that time.
Loved their tunes and sound. One of the better Happy Hardcore/Breakbeat artists of that era.

I did love though the first one that was released in that series with "The Future" Dyewitness & "The First Rebirth" by Jones & Stephenson.
It was so tough It was like the best mix ever at that point in time !!
And i remember that horribly painful way of having your finger constantly stuck on the skip button to go from track to track as it never separated. Just one big long track!!!

I remember buying that from Central Station Records in Flinders Street when i was just 14 years old. And Will E Tell served me at the time which i thought was bloody ace Loved Will E Tell!!!

A compilation series that i fondly look back on

A LITTLE???

It was pretty wall to wall cheddar really...I mean, Forever Young, seriously? How Deep Is Your Love, Children of the Revolution, Cold as Ice, I Need Your Lovin'...oozing cheese

That's what made it so much fun though.

Yeah, part 1 being one single track was annoying as fuck...no days when no one is ever listening on an actual CD player and has a scroll bar to jump through, no big deal haha

SonicDistortion You are a f...ing legend. I own Central Nervous System 3 and 4. Had number 2 stolen from me a long time ago and number 1 is on cassette in another country. I have been wanting 1 and 2 for soooo long. I can't say thank you enough. Now the only stolen CD I am still missing is Strictly Techno 2

If anyone would like Central Nervous System 4 post here and i'll work out how to get you a copy. Be warned it is much more hardcore than the first 3 with most of the tracks being by DJ Vagas himself.

And just because I had a glance at my collection I noticed I have Spellbound Volume 1 (sorry can't put the discogs link here as I am a new member but if you search there it has spellbound written across the top in red) If anyone wants this I could also arrange to get this to you. Similar era to number 2.

No worries mate, glad I can help.

I actually have Strictly Techno 2 on cassette and vinyl! I've seen the CD in a couple of second hand stores, if I see it again I'll buy it and upload it. Most of the tracks are easy to find now.

I remember seeing CNS 4 in HMV and the artwork on the cover was horrible, so I thought it wasn't worth buying. A couple of years ago, Central Station released another Central Nervous System CD mixed by George Vagas, its not on Discogs, bought it for $5 at JB Hi Fi!
