Hmm it is wierd... I read your post that you spoke to Antico and it wasn't him... But I am 99% *certain* that I have heard this track, and 99% certain that I heard it on:

http://www.discogs.com/release/235139

I heard a clip of the megamix ( while I was trying to confirm C.K.A Bellissimo ) and I would nearly put money that it was on there... Of course the "Somebody Scream" definitely is; but I would swear that synth as well...

<shrugs> But maybe I am going bonkers! ;-)

EDIT: Actually, to be precise, it was (a snip of) the megamix one one of these:
http://www.discogs.com/release/561887 (LP)
http://www.discogs.com/release/126427 (CD)

Seems to be pretty much the same though ;-)

Thanks Paul, I'll check it out. You're right it definitely samples that Antico track and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a megamix and/or remix that Antico didn't know about. It was 1991 after all!

Hi all...

I have posted this one around the net, but have never had any luck... probably 93ish, and probably italian... Bangin' techno, heavily played back in the day in Brisbane, especially by Angus @ The Beat...

Any help hugely appreciated - been trying to ID this for years!

Either Italian or English techno with big synthy stuff like DJ Professor's We Gotta Do It. It samples Kraze the Party with the 'Somebody Scream'.

Have tried the following to ill effect:
Galaxy 2 - Somebody Scream (althought it could be the b-side)
Love Revolution - The Scream (bside to Give It To Me Baby)
Prophet of Rage - Somebody Scream (doesn't sound too Caspar Pound does it!)
Antico - Freedom - same freedom sample and even a DJ Professor mix.

Any help appreciated.
Cheers

OK, what about this one. It's 92 hard-trance from a set I posted on the rave tape (Easygroove/DJ Sara from Eclipse radio show).

For era clues/context it's mixed in between two Harthouse tracks by Arpeggiators and Transpulsation.

thanks for lookin'

Hi mate, I have been after this one for a while too... If you listen to the tracks on Force Mass Motions Escape EP, this track is soooo similar, my feeling is that it just must be FMM...

Edit: My current instinct is that it may be on the Psycosis EP (http://www.discogs.com/release/19802) just need to find some samples or get a confirm somewhere...

this is funky house 92/93 on a Sugar Ray mix I posted on the rave tapes thing.
From what I remember it was Eclipse radio but not the Eclipse tape. Mixed in with Ben Dover 'Get Down Tonight'

Samples everything - I wanna funk (Kylie), guitar riff from Tone Loc 'On Fire' ...

http://www.tuneid.com/attachment.php...2&d=1164435030

Any clues?

I absolutely adore a couple of their other pieces: Perfect Morning / Perfect Day. Superb intro, plus a classic piano riff hammering out towards the end.

No worries, I've found some people selling I Roc T so I can follow up with them and see if they say yeah. Thanks heaps for the lead tho, cheers L.

(EDIT) Definitely not I-roc-T.

You were right Spectrum!

DJ Shade has just IDed this one as Edge Records #4. The tune is called NSRY.

He also IDed the other 'work your body' tune I had up for ID. That one turned out to be Westbam - Mayday Anthem, the Force Mass Motion remix.

That's 3 in a row for Shade

this ones slow, likely to be 1994 as it's on the Jad McAdam Fibro tape on the Old School Tape set thread and mixed into Slo Moshun's Bells of NY.

Got a sample of 'from the ocean comes my potion'

If anyone's bored.. I'd be forever grateful for a few of these to be ID'd. Sample clips are from Fenix and Paul Holden tapes, Vagas - let it out 94, and random radio recordings I made in the early 90s. All found on my website below:
