bumped into troy wade @ the gym today, he told me that yeah, its the old insomnia, its called mesh and its playing mostly RNB and some house. and hes gonna be playing there some fridays and some saturdays... thats all ive heard...

Hmm Rob B's wife, Callie goes to school with me and she was mentioning something about this. I have a feeling she was saying he was happy he can be a bit more diverse with his selection, so I'm guessing it will not be all the standard Insomnia stuff...that's all I know.

ITM isan't the be all and end all of the canberra going out scene. Quite a few events these days don't bother promoting on here and do fine. Maybe they don't want the ITM crowd

i agree, so far it sounds like they have nothing really to offer...the drinks will (in the beginning) be more expensive than most other places ( i think), places like 3 degrees already have a 'quality' rnb/house combo going, and yeah - for the 'trash' rnb/house combo there are lots of other places that already have an established crowd.. I still maintain that canberra isn't big enough to support another of these combos..

fair enuf..........but if they are going for that same market then ITM ain't really a care factor for them. Moose, sultans, shooters etc don't promote on here and they do fine. If they are heading down that way then promoting on ITM is goin get them nowhere as it will just be a shit fight etc
