^ Yeah the red kult remix is awesome!
I thought the vocal sample in that sounded like something being played backwards.. so i put the original on reverse on my cdj but it wasnt it. I wonder where he got the sample from..

Ok its not even in dispute anymore. Mr Prydz is the best producer in the world BAR NONE
![]() ![]() ![]() Recently been listening to 5 of his new tracks.. ALL BOMBS. Muranyi - personal favorite Balaton Ironman Madderferrys Genesis Horizons - Cirez D You can listen to all of the tracks above except Horizons on his myspace - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...id=158 349130 Check out beaport to listen to Horizons. Not to mention one of the best tunes ive ever heard which Paolo dropped last week with the 'everyday in my life' vocal over the top. Havent found this one yet but it is amazing. And also this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1N_ydwShvA - which is apparently one of his own. Some people bitch and moan about prydz playing too many of his own productions, but i swear when i see him i hope he only plays his own shit it is that good! How the hell does this guy keep churning out bombs at such a crazy rate? Genius ![]()

Yeh I'm in agreeance.. don't forget the two recent releases that were hammered by every man and his asparagus "Rymd" and "Armed"
I haven't heard "Balaton" yet and "Murani" is probably the only downer in the list for me, but I also rate "Tigerstyle" under his Cirez D name - but it's a damn tough track to mix!

Totally agree. Pure genius.
Armed is massive and Madferries is going to be even bigger. Check out Seadweller as well - it's unbelievably cool.

This tune is so good it's not funny. Paolo playing it back at the apartment = best moment in dance music of 2007. Like, even better than when Desyn dropped Holyland. Seriously. I need you, and I want you, everyday of my life ![]()

So what is it called? This wicked bomb? Paolo mentions something about a new Pryda tune on his myspace blog (can't remember the name, and work has blocked myspace). I recall it was two words, "'something' mode" or some such

![]() He's pretty good young Eric, if he does come out though theres the ever present risk that he'll cater for the Sydney public on mass, which would mean.... Either way he's pretty versatile. Can you imagine a Pryda gig in a dark as fuck club with a limited release on tickets?! *sigh*

^ Haha i know.. kind of ironic really.. lets think about whats happening here.. some people are criticising an artist for using his own work!
God damn I wish Coldplay wouldnt play so many of their own tracks in concert.. who do they think they are?!? At least chuck in the odd U2 belter! Pfft how rude.

^ Jebiga!
![]() To be honest I wasn't really feeling the vibe of Madderferrys the first half a dozen times I sampled it but I bought it regardless in the hope it'd grow on me like Aftermath did (can you believe I actually HATED, no let's make that word more French to emphasise the point, DETESTED it on first listen??). Anyway, let's just say Madderferrys and I are good friends now. It's no great feat in complexity of production and takes quite a while to build up, and let's face it, it's nowhere near the best work he's ever put out, but it's definitely a great tune and for that I am truly thankful. And yeah, whereas I first heard Storm almost two years ago now (and it's STILL not released, what the FUCK is he thinking?), to be honest, the past month is the first time I've taken notice of Madderferrys. Sure I recognise it from hearing it once or twice a while back but it's proven the exception to the "omg Eric's tunes are well worn out before they're even released rule", as far as I'm concerned anyway. Again, I'm a massive fan of this guy and I want everyone to know it. The fanboyism continues without doubt. ![]()

I thought it just was a random collection of shit noise. But i didnt understand it at first.. then it finally clicked and it became my second favorite tune of 05. You are an amateur fanboi carte. I am king fanboi. He is my hero. Techprog ftw!

I think Chappo might melt and im sure Kris, despite pissing me off waking up to his phone with Aftermath as ringtone more days then i care to remember, would still have some OMGWTFswirls left in his arms. In proof that i could never be a DJ, i remember hearing it on a shiloh and chable mix on hybridized and thinking, cool but a bit boring. As to this thread... The only act in the universe worth devotion without question is Chemical Brothers, and Prydz has about 10 more years to get anywhere near that "all hail the kings status" Now excuse me whilst i run... fast... |

Can the mods please merge this thread with that one? I think it will be a lot easier to have one thread for all the Prydz fanboys/girls

Just whitnessed Prydz at Global Gathering and he really knows how to rock a crowd. I must say my opinion of him has changed dramatically, especially with his newer production work. I still think that he can't really mix to save his life but the bombs he was dropping were enormous.
So what is the actual chance of him going to Aus? is it likely?

Yeah I will agree with you on that one.. hence why i only refer to him as the world's best producer ![]() While not that bad, his mixing isnt great. But he more than makes up for that with track selection, and hey imo thats what DJing is about anyway. I'd muuuuch rather see a shit mixer that has an awesome track selection, rather than a wickedly skilled DJ who plays crap tunes.
