E-mail Error: Remote SMTP server has rejected address
An old work colleague has been trying to send me e-mails to my work address and the error below comes back to them. I used to be able to receive e-mails from her up until 4 weeks ago. i went on holidays for 3 weeks and since i came back i cannot receive e-mails from her. she thinks that maybe someone at work has changed a setting so that i cannot receive e-mails from her address now. has anyone got any ideas how to fix this or anything?

the e-mail addresses in colour has been changed for privacy reasons. the purple address is from my work colleague and the one in blue is from me.

thanks for helping

yup, pretty much... your mail server is bouncing it straight back.

Now its either doing it on the specific address or it may be for the entire domain.

More than likely whoever takes care of your mailserver has blocked that email/domain from sending to it, or they utilise a blacklist and the person emailing you is listed on a blacklist somewhere (though common practice is to include a link to any such blacklist in the bounce if this was the case)

Not a heap you can do to fix it, contact the admin of your mail server

Put the proper domains in. You've obfuscated the domains which may be critical to determining if rDNS is the issue.
