Yes I am... Luckily there are a few good progressive DJs around here, since it is the genre of choice, and since I love progressive, I can't complain!! I hope you also have Martin Garcia's set at Creamfields, which I think is one of the best sets I have listened to in 2006. I couldn't listen to it live though because Sasha was playing at the same time, but those who were there thought that it was an amazing set.

If you want to know what are parties like around here go to youtube and search for moonpark XII videos, where Hernan Cattaneo and John Digweed played.. There are some that are simply incredible.

I have other very interesting sets by other argentinian DJ's such as Kintar & Rex (Dark Prog) and Deep Mariano. As soon as I have 15 posts I'll post them here.. Cheers!!

Di. You're a mum??

How many nippers you got ???

I might have to post pics of my little Prog Army- Caitlin & Erin

Caitlin is starting on her journey of liking "daddies music".
She has been getting into some of my stuff lately when we've been in the car.
She likes Nic Fanciulli's warm up stuff which is quite cool.

Anyway, when I have listened to that set I'll let you know what I think and will probably ask for more.

Just one. He's older than yours. I keep telling people he is a precocious six year old but not too many people believe me since he is taller than me now

It's great seeing babies and small children reacting to music

This is such a quality set, beautiful engaging and emotional, everything a prog set should be…

Props to all the parents spreading the beauty of progressive, if anything I’d like to think your kids would grow up appreciating the subtleties of life when embracing the intricacies of the art!

I can't wait to be a dad, my little niece adores the progressive that I play when shes in the car or over our place (she even puts her hands in the air at various stages) heres a pic, sorry I couldn’t help myself she’s so cute!

That was christmas morning! Apart from gorgous meaningful music, when I'm stressed or agitated theres nothing that puts everything in perspective as much as her smile!

As you can tell Me=Uber Clucky

BTW, how different is the South American, Argentinean specifically, progressive sound! For me its so engaging, heart wrenching and uplifting all at once…on Hernan’s website theres a phrase on how he seeks to take the energy of European electronic music and inject it with the soul of the Americas, for me these sort of sets embody that entire concept…WATCH OUT EUROPE HERE COMES THE COMPETITION!

Do you guys have the 320kbps version? If ever there was a set that deserved a high quality version then this is it, the sampling through out is absolutely amazing...

Yeah my thoughts exactly

The main problem I'm having with this set is my i-pod's sound recreation is so fucking lame I'm missing so much. Just getting to the end of the second set and I'm thinking "needs more kick" and then I listened on a different sound system and it blew me away.

Fucking lame arse i-pods.

^^^ I bought a pair of sennheiser pmx 60's for my ipod, made a world of difference. Now I just want to walk the streets listening to music. Some one else I know had these amazing Bang and Olufsen things but I think they are just a tad expensive . She said they were a couple of hundred dollars, but they look sooooooo goooood!! Sound great as well

Yeah, I had Senn watsits for my last i-pod. HUGE difference. Will wait until these headphones shit themselves (which they will) before buying more.

Oh, a mate in England downloaded this set and fair dinkum fucking creamed his pants.

Got messages all weekend dribbling about it

He's got a KICK arse fucking sound system in his house. I'm sure the neighbours arent impressed though

I have owned a pair of the B & Os and slammed them in my car door Could not afford to replace them so got a pair of Sennheier CX300s.

They cost more than $100 less but I must say I prefer them to the B&Os. Fantastic bass response which is essential for prog listening

Don't wait, life is too short!! . I got a new set of ipod earphones when I bought a little nano. Gave them away!!
Good to hear the music's spreading!!

Just checked ebay again and those cx 300's that youngman mentiones can be got very cheaply and Sennheiser make a similar pair to the B & O's but much cheaper OMX 90 VC

Lovin this set !!
Thanks Di.

On the topic of headphones. I was recently given a set of the new Sony EX Monitor range, to use with my iPOD. Very nice indeed. I neally hung myself with the standard issue earpieces that came iwth my Nano, but these Sony really have the depth and clarity.

I think one of the issues I have with iPod is its random asumption of EQ levels I really have to tinker with them.
