^ Watched that this morning my god great game, those guys are actually really good casters. All those shitty silver level games must have made them really good lol

With the SQ stuff it's pretty easy, end of the game you punch in your unspent resources and average collection rate from the score screen (economy tab) into a calculator to get it. (link: http://acslayer.webs.com)

I've only been focusing on SQ until i get it up to 105 then ill start watching replay and making sure my Nexus energy is low and I'm always making workers until i get 16 per base (lvl1 has no gas otherwsie it'd be 16 + 3xNo. Gas)

Best thing about it, because you are focusing on your SQ and not winning you stop giving a shit about winning or losing. That said I was expecting to bleed ladder points but I just played against a Diamond (and lost, roaches own zealots can't wait till i can make stalkers) have beaten a couple of Platnums with it

I think I'm going to step down a few levels, I skipped up when I got frustrated, but can't seem to break 70 on level 3

Like 90% of the time I'm not floating anything, but then I scout or something.... Look at my minerals and I'm floating 1k in early game. Guess I'm not helping myself by constantly playing fast expand builds. >.<

Keep at it I'm starting to crack 100 more and more, just gotta spam that Z button like crazy

Yeah there are a few earlier ones but to be honest they are just him figuring out the best way to do Zealot only. Kind of useful if you're at work and are doing something else. He has same videos for Zerg and Terran too. Just go through the archives and look for the ones title 'I'm The Noob....'

I really want to see how level 2 works. I think having warp gate is going to make keeping SQ low hard as shit. Also if huk can only get an average SQ of like 95 what the hell chance have normal people got of cracking 100 all the time

As much as level 1 and 2 lends themselves to cheese, I think that defeats the purpose a bit. SQ 100 on a short 1 base game is a breeze compared to a 4-5 base macro game.

Are you controlling the enemies expansions, you do have to end the game quickly otherwise they will tech up and destroy you

Most of my games I'm actually able to keep them on 1 base for ages, then lock them into 2 bases. With 18 zealots cranking out every 20 seconds it's hard for them gain ground back.

how do you keep your SQ high in the end game? the longer the game goes, the more workers and bases i have, the harder it is to maintain higher SQ thingy.

lol, make sure you limit your workers stop at 16 per 3 bases (2 rows)

And yeah end game basically keep your food low by throwing zealots/lings/marines away so you never get supply capped. As soon as you get capped you get so many god damn minerals so quickly.

I dunno, I usually just constantly pump out probes, so by the time I have a third up I can transfer most of the probes required immediately.

I stop when I've got 3 bases with 16 probes, only make more if I want 4 bases. But that's just me, 16 probes is optimum saturation (best return for investment), 24 probes is maximum saturation (most income, but you don't get best return).

I'll do what Trase does usually and get 2 full pages once I've got 2 bases (24 on each base).

If i decided to get a 3rd, when finishes It grab 8 from my main and 8 from my expo and transfer them over. Then you have 3x16 and are ready to spam zealots.

Actually neat trick when you're building your 3rd just hotkey the amount of workers you need (8 from each base) when you get time, so when the base is almost finished you just hit 2 and right click on the minerals. Means that if a battle is happening when the third finishes you don't have to spend 5 seconds organizing the transfer and instead just 2 clicks and return to the battle.

On one base every probe after 24 will just bounce around and do nothing, next time you make more then 24 probes on one base just have a look and you'll see.

I find it's better just to play ladder games. Macro trainers don't teach you how to respond in different situations

Sigh.. every game I'm between 95 and 100, here and there crack 100, but never consistently.

And analysis my replays there's no huge mistakes, usually just 1 tiny slip while attacking or a supply block fucks me up. I guess when I put it that way they are huge mistakes

But yeah +1 for marines being ballers.

yeh. weird thing is. i cant see me having a more effective play style at this level

like, i get my wall up. churn out 8 marines, then start harassing. then just spam spam spam. take their natural. and then wait till ive got about 80 marines and just send them all in while still mashing. throw up a factory/armory, and tech lab for stimpack and shields. its fucked.

the only things that really fuck me are cloaked units. and the occasional early baneling bust.

@trAse you'd be surprised how hard a supply block fucks you if you smoothed them out you'd crack 100 easily

lol yeh. when i get up at around 200 supply, i grab a bit of gas so i can get armory and tech lab. its not following the rules. but its awesome.

Yeah, I usually throw down gateways as soon as I realise I'm going to be supply blocked, but it still fucks me. With 3 bases I need to be throwing down 2 pylons constantly to support all my gateways. Maybe I'll try the next few games of just 1A'ing and never moving the camera from my base, for maximum focus.

Ahhhhh.... that was actually super helpful, was stumped with how to analyse my replays using his method.

Wow, it was super helpful, just got 111, consistently hitting over 100 now... Just need that 3 in a row... Haven't had supply blocks or probe cuts for awhile now, just gotta get better at throwing down gateways to spend money.
