2ch mixers
G'day All,
I need to look at getting an extra mixer as I don't really want to be carting my x:one around to gigs over the next few months. I'm looking for something very basic, compact and with good sound quality. In terms of features all i want is a reliable fader and eq's. I'm thinking of the vmc002xl at the moment but its probably a bit more than i want to spend. If anyone can suggest comparable units that will fit this bill, would be greatly appreciated,
cheers,
Ben

Ecler Nuo 2
Pioneer DJM400

Rane's out of your price range

Isn't the VMC002XL only around the $350 mark?? You won't get anything decent under that price...

thanks guys, only had a quick look in a catalogue so far and the vestax was 410, if i can swing one for 350 then I'll probably do that. Would prefer not to go with pioneer, wasn't impressed with the last mixer i had from them. The Ecler looks nice but for size and weight, probably more than I'm looking for. Definitely after a new unit though, prefer to have the warranty and tax receipt

Denon DN-X300. Great mixer, simple to use, quality (penny+giles) crossfader, great eqs, good sound quality, blah blah .... plus, I managed to snag mine for $450 at a random djwarehouse sale - brand new, too!

Spend a little extra coin and get the Vestax vmc185xl. You could get one for 600 in cash.
I could be wrong, but I believe diversity is an old, old wooden ship that was used during the Civil War era.
