ep1 +2 were average, ep3 was great.

I find as long as I don't compare season 3 to the first 2 seasons and try and look at it as a whole new entity then I like it a lot more.

In general, I fucking hate TV these days and rarely watch it, however 10 weeks ago I accidently discovered Skins. And kicking it old school, I decided to watch each episode every Monday night on SBS with great anticipation, oh it was glorious! Due to things that have fucked up my life, I couldn't wait a week and have streamed the entire 2nd season in a couple of days, that's how awesome this show is! I wish they had this kind of show when I was a teenager!!

THIS IS THE BEST TV SHOW OF THE 21ST CENTURY (I love Doctor Who more, however that started in 1963), "if they don't like it, fuck 'em."

Can't wait for Season 3.

Totally loving the new ep (JJ) it was really great much like the old Skins, Last week's ep was also fantastic i didnt know who i felt more sorry for Emily or Nioami But yea it seems like skins are finally stepping their game up with the new series

Awesome ep

Ep9, made me cry, so sad but lovely. Actually felt for everyone single one of the characters.

ive just caught up with season 3, took me ages to warm up to the characters but now i like them. Although they are definitely copies of the previous characters.

Can someone explain to me the point of Naomi in this series? The one thing that grates me about this new series is how forced together it looks, whereas in the first two series the cast were all friends with each other. With this situation I can't understand why Naomi is around, since:

1. The boys have been fairly rude to her, in particular Cook.
2. The Evil Twin constantly bags the crap out of her.
3. The Good Twin is constantly cracking onto her.
4. Both Effy and Pandora seems to be fairly indifferent to her.

Any normal person would go, "hey I don't like these wankers, maybe I won't hang out with them anymore." Yet without (epic) fail, she turns up in every scene for no real good reason. Am I missing something here?

Generally speaking I'm happy with this series yet not as good as the first two seasons. Episode 2 was ridiculous, however Episode 3 was the best with the most appealing character.

Funny you should say that, just watched Episode 6, the thing is that episode would have been a pretty good teen drama type movie and speaking for all the men here, ladies getting it on in their panties makes for great TV! The scene you're refering to doesn't convince me that Cook isn't a complete ****. But the dude playing his role is bloody good! I'm aware of the reasons for the twins, my point being if you were in Naomi's position, would you go through all that? It was a tour de force for Naomi and her emotions, but I still think her character in this series is forced and unrealistic in the grand scheme of things.

Also watched Episode 7, that was fantastic, with the best ending, ever!

This is one show where I can see the writers sitting around saying "hmm, the tensionometer only got upto 8 this week, any ideas for more conflict? Oh I know, lets put in a bit with the Mum and the Naomi, what's that, 9.5? That'll do, tea break everyone."

I think they have known each other as children. Naomi kissing emily is something that happens before the first episode, or is hinted at.

my 2 cents, nowhere near as good as season 1 & 2 but as it progresses hopefully it gets better (as they did) oh and effy is hot

@ SonicDistortion: I have to agree Naomi does seem like a useless character espcially in ep 2 when she just comes like that i was thinkin wtf but when it was her ep and Emily and her hooked up thought it was the best part (not coz i like watching girls kiss but becoz it was so romantic) but then Naomi ruined it all
