Hot damn! http://skyrunninganz.com/

Unfortunately I think I'll only be able to do the Hounslow Classic in 2015.

Ok you running guys, help me. I think I'm hurting my shoulder with shitty running technique, initially I thought repetitive movements at work we're causing it but now I think it's just causing it to be worse. Any who, seeing a physio today but how do I not screw my shoulder from running?

Have you paid attention to what your shoulders are doing while you're running? Make sure you're not hunching them up, pretend you're carrying a couple of shopping bags and let your arms drop from the shoulders.

I actually find that running is the best thing for keeping my shoulders and neck mobile and loose, so it's probably just a small tweak that you need to make.

Make sure that you're lifting up nice and tall and aren't twisted through your spine at all.

Do you do a lot of lifting and twisting in your job (nurses are notorious for having the muscles in their back a bit constricted from twisting and lifting).

Yeah we do a lot of lifting and twisting although I'm now trying to be more conscious of the way I lift and move. But yesterday I was fine until I reached up to change and infusion set. I do have poor posture and I'm pretty sure my running is a little hunched so I will give your technique a go. I hate being injured, it's not as sore as the other week where I couldn't get my top off without huge amounts of pain.

I have found that stretching for 30 mins a day is improving everything heaps, I am sure your physio has given you tonnes to do though anyway

Not this little black duck. Wouldn't mind another lash in 2016 if I'm still alive and my knees still work.

Oh yeah, I'm *firmly* (lol) on the podcasts instead of music while running bandwagon now.

I'll check it out. MU covers some hilarious out there topics and interview some full on crazies but it's always got some fairly interesting stuff in there; I like it because they really try and be open-minded around the topics (UFOlogy, etc) whereas I'm just berating the loonies but some of the stories are quite compelling

Bill Burr's podcast is some funny, rambly shit. He does a bit of American sport stuff in there, but it's mostly just him being funny.
